Chapter 22-Cale seems to consider him a friend

Welp, I have nothing to write here folks.•_• Can you give me anything to talk about?

Anyways, I am lacking some reviews. So, This humble author wonders if the benevolent and Kind readers would grant this one some reviews.

[Author: Since I am l̵a̵z̵y̵ busy, I will now rush the chapters a bit. So, Until the event at Capital, things will be rushed.]

It was the next day. The travel was still boring but Simon chatted with the cats and just sat silently on the carriage.

In the evening when Simon, Cale, and others were beginning camping. Another carriage pulled in. Simon and Cale recognized the carriage and the people inside.

As in the novel, Taylor asked if he could camp with them. Cale gave them their consent and began doing what he was doing.

On the other hand, Taylor asked Cage, the crazy priestess.

"Cage, Do you think we can trust him?"

Cage looked at him replied with a weird expression.

"Yes. The darned God is saying that Young Master Cale is trustable. But, I also feel like he is caressing me when I am near Young Master Cale."

Taylor asked what that meant. Cage replied with a.

"I don't know. The darned God says it's fine but looks at me with pity. Not just Young Master Cale but even the guy who is staying in the same carriage."

"Who even is he?"

"I don't know but seems like Young Master Cale seems to consider him a friend."

The travel continued normally. Evidentally some bandits came but their numbers lessened as they got closer to the capital.

The black dragon was still dropping food for them. Taylor and Cage even misunderstood it as Venion's men following them.

Like this, A week or so passed.

Simon was talking with Cale about the things happening in the capital when they heard Hans speaking. Hans told them that Taylor wanted to talk. Simon looked at Cale before going out of the tent.

Cale told Hans to send them in. Hans did so before going away.

Cale looked at Taylor and Cage. The things that happened were basically the same as in the novel. Cale lends Taylor and Cage money and a plan to help them get into the capital. Taylor and Cage made a vow of death to not reveal Cale's help.

It was the next day. Simon, Cale, Taylor, and Cage were sitting on the carriage. The carriage was actually big enough to fit them along with the cats.

Simon sat with Taylor and Cage. Cale sat on the other side with the cats. Soon after some stuff happening and Cale t̵h̵r̵e̵a̵t̵e̵n̵i̵n̵g̵ reminding the guards.

Cale managed to sneak Taylor and Cage into the capital. After they entered the capital, Simon looked at the surroundings. He noticed that this place was pretty beautiful and had a different architectural vibe to it.

The houses were different than the ones he had seen in the Henituse territory. After looking around for a while, Simon didn't find any other interesting thing.

Simon fell into a trance as he thought.

'So, I have finally arrived at the capital. Finally, that long journey is over.'

Simon hated how boring the journey was. He was in the same carriage as Cale so his actions had been restricted.

Simon didn't want to ruin his image and impression from Cale. So he kept a facade and put up a stoic face during most of the travel.

'I wonder if the number of enemies this time will be high too.'

Simon was worried about the upcoming fight but he ignored such worries. They had a dragon with them. They would be completely fine.

Also, Overthinking isn't bad. Simon would do the things needed and be cautious like always. The result is unknown. He would just do his best and gain as much advantage as he can.

Simon was looking outside as their carriage moved. Taylor and Cage had already split away from them. They traveled from the busy roads to a place full of rich.

Soon the carriage stopped and Simon saw a huge villa. With stone tiles, fountains, bushes, grass, and the Villa's design made up a spectacular place.

Plus, Simon saw the butlers in black tuxedos bowing. It really seemed like the medieval bow of servants.

Seeing the people who all had good faces bowing in such a refined manner was quite a good experience. Simon thought that these people were cool, filled with class and manners but he was never excited about medieval culture.

Though Simon knew a kid that was a crazy fan of such things. That wasn't important to Simon as the butlers shouted in unison.

""""""""WELCOME!! Young Master-nim!""""""""

Cale didn't respond went straight towards the villa. Simon also followed with Hans and the cats.

Simon was keeping a calm face on the outside but his mind was full o thoughts. The huge voice of the servants just snapped him.

He noticed that he was getting stressed. That was so unlike him. He wasn't the type to feel pressure on things. Simon did every job better than required.

Even in his previous life, He did a finer job than necessary. It might seem like a waste of energy but Simon didn't want to face something like demotion or getting fired.

He always made sure that things around him weren't a loss to him. That's how he, Simon lived and should live.

'Damn it. Acting, boredom, and other things have started to stress me out. But like hell, I will be hindered by something like this. I still need to get my revenge and punch that white thing once.'

Simon had a small grin on his face as he entered a room that was supposedly his to use. The canon had just started.

Many unexpected variables came and Simon was quite frustrated at the things. But The canon was still starting.

'I still have a long time.'

Simon's grin grew wider. Why? It's good you ask, Because

His stay in the capital was just starting.

TO BE CONTINUED

Hey friends Author here, I am now starting to slowly start the canon. It's pretty complex. I myself am surprised that I thought about something this complex. Wish me luck that I can write properly.

Fun fact: The plot is based on a dream I once had. Although the dream is nothing similar to my plans. The character of Simon is based on a person I saw in the dream. It's vague but the rest of Simon's personality is based on what I felt when I created him.
