Chapter 32- An Angel

The third and the final chapter you get for now.

Also, Have you guys read the latest summary for TCF? I have a lot of questions about what is happening currently.

________________________

Simon looked around the crowd. He had been moving all around while remaining invisible. He hadn't even told Cale about this. He just did a 'Trust Me' and left.

Why?

Simon wasn't an idiot. He had picked off the events and found a conclusion already.

'The enemies are stronger.'

When first meeting Arm, Simon was very nervous. The presence of Arm there is pretty much equal to

'This is not the world you know. Please turn Back.'

Except for the fact that there was no option of going back, The things here were different. Cale was weaker than portrayed in the novel. Lock reached almost to the point of utter despair.

Mid and High-Level Knights were too common in Arm. The enemies were stronger and more Mana bombs were found by Choi Han and others.

Simon knew that he hadn't just randomly popped into this world. Somebody had sent him here and also did not completely ignore Simon.

This morning he had become Orochimaru by testing his powers on alive humans. But that wasn't with malicious intent and with the fact that Simon was ready to face consequences, Would he be considered half-Orochimaru?

So after testing his powers on some random dying beggar, Simon established new facts about his power and also figured things out.

This morning in the slums, many talks and rumors were brewing.

Seeingly a white-haired holy looking person was healing the beggars in pain.

This small rumor was bound to be overshadowed by the talks about the terror incident but some people, including Simon, will never forget.

Since He was that white-haired holy looking being.

Leaving such minor incidents, Simon learned a new way of looking at matters. Till now, Simon looked at things from his perspective.

But after hearing the completely exaggerated rumors about him, Simon started to look at things from the perspective of others.

So, Simon stopped thinking as the one who was Isekai'd but looked from the perspective of the one that Isekai'd.

'If I were a God looking for entertainment like those shitty fan-fics portray, It would be boring if the hero... won.'

Simon as a reader of many novels knows how boring a one-sided victory is. Domination in a fight was cool for sure but the repetitive plot in anything was boring.

If a God, gave the hero's side an ally then the villain must also get an ally or something to fend off the allies of the Hero. To balance things out.

He had powers and the enemies were stronger. In simple form, Simon took the side of the good and the bad also became stronger.

Thinking about it like that made sense and Simon wasn't going to think more. He found an answer that was satisfactory.

Although Simon might or might not have cursed all generations of that God, Let's look at the bigger picture. At least a mystery was solved.

*Back to the Incident*

Filled with caution, Simon's eyes mapped out the entire area. He was ready for anything. While Simon was looking out for attacks Cale was thinking about Redika's sentence.

'That was a failure. So there are more.'

Cale cursed as three people wearing completely black attire without any symbols on them suddenly sprinted towards the three classes present there. Each of them had a backpack.

It was obvious what was in those boxes.

The first guy sprinted towards the Royals, the second went towards the nobles and the final one was headed towards the huge crowd of civilians.

All of them ripped three scrolls as their speed increased while their body was burning. These guys could be called suicide bomb trio. The people whose lives didn't matter to Arm.

The mages also understood this as they shouted.

"STOP THEM!"

But unfortunately, Redika was the closest to them. He snapped his fingers as the screeching voice resounded again.

"Go"

The entire plaza again fell into utter chaos. The nobles started scrambling and shouting. They were trying to run but it was obviously going to be pointless. A few seconds of running can never get you out of the explosion's radiation.

That's why running was pointless still everybody ran. It was a normal reaction for people.

"Y,Young Master Cale. Let's Go."

Eric, Gilbert, Amiru, and Taylor sounded very scared which was absolutely normal. But, Cale didn't budge. Instead, he clicked his tongue.

'It's going to be troublesome.'

'I will help you.' The black dragon also said in Cale's mind.

The four nobles were still scared and couldn't think properly. They were about to drag Cale but saw Cale raising his hand.

The black dragon had teleported Rosalyn to Cale's side. She instantly set up two magic shields around them. Redika's voice also spread.

"Explode"

Suddenly all the nobles saw something wonderful. The suicide bomber headed towards them was suddenly covered with silver lights. Then they saw wings. A large pair of silver wings shot up to the sky as if protecting the people.

The bomber was surrounded in silver light as a very strong but almost invisible shield covered the original wings.

The bright silver light of the first shield completely overshadowed the strong shield. At the same time, a white-haired boy also appeared in front of the civilians.

Many eyes of the civilians were glued to the silver light but nobody missed the third suicide bomber heading towards the crowd.

At that moment, While the nobles saw a holy-looking silver shield. The commoners saw an equally holy-looking person standing in front of them.

If Eric had seen this person he could have spotted the similarity between this person and Cale. Both of them were pointing towards the suicide bomber nearest to them.

And, Rosalyn would easily recognize this person. She never had much interaction but she knew that Lock was close with this person.

Yes, It was Simon.

Wearing his shirt on the inside and a dark coat. He looked absolutely handsome. A smile was spreading on his face.

His finger changed the direction it was facing, from pointing at the bomber towards the same mountain that was exploded by the previous bombs.

The action was normal. Nothing to doubt or wonder about. But, the crowd was dumbfounded as they saw the body of the bomber turn direction.

At this point, the bomber was already dead from burning and almost naked. All hair burned and barely recognizable body remaining.

The dead body of the bomber did an almost 180-degree turn as it got blasted off towards the destroyed mountain. Yes, towards the same direction as Simon's finger was pointing.

If this happened slowly, people might have found this odd but It happened so quickly that it seemed.

Simon controlled the body of the bomber without touching it. In modern words, this was called telekinesis. Of course, the people did not know what this was but

It was not magic.

Why?

No human can use magic like that.

This seemed like something special. Like divine power. Such impossible things could be done only by Divine powers but only a saint could use Divine powers. Unless...

The people looked at Simon's face again and thought.

'An angel.'

Simon looked like an angel but without wings.

"Arrrgh"

"Ahhhhh, MY ARM"

Shouts of the injured people came.

Unlike last time, the explosion was very near which shook the people to their core.

People had terrified expressions. It wasn't even their fault. Three freaking MANA Bombs had just gone off very near to them.

The gust of the wind was very huge. Many people died and got injured besides the Royal family. A very strong shield had been set up the fastest to protect the Royals.

The unfortunate ones were the servants, knights, and some unlucky mages. The black smoke soon disappeared revealing the Blonde Royals.

They were completely fine. Not a single injury.

The alive people turned their heads to look at the commoners and the nobles.

Claaang-

A silver shield was breaking apart. The black smoke disappeared along with the bright silver light. The silver shield was crumbling to pieces.

Not a single drop of blood or an ounce of flesh from the bomber was left. The gazes followed the source of the silver light to see a red-haired individual.

"Young Master Cale"

Rosalyn quickly supported Cale who had fallen to the ground. The three explosions were very strong which meant that the recoil would be strong as well.

She turned her head to look towards the Royals and then towards the crowd. She knew that nobody had been there but was shocked to find Simon.

Simon, who was standing straight had traces of blood in his mouth, nose, and ears. She could see that his legs were also shaking. She wanted to go help him but let out a sigh of relief when she saw Choi Han going to support Simon.

"Young master Cale, are you okay? Young master Cale!"

Rosalyn started to speak to the bleeding Cale. Simon had traces of blood but she saw that Cale's situation was very serious.

"Cale, Are you ok?"

"Young Master Cale."

The three nobles and Taylor seemed to be very concerned.

"I am oka- Cough"

Cale couldn't properly respond as he began to cough. But this turned the expression of the people grave.

Cale was coughing blood.

However, Cale started to feel better after coughing up that small amount of blood.

'The Vitality of the Heart really is good.'

The pain in his body disappeared, and his body started to settle back to normal at a very fast rate. In fact, Cale's body became healthier than ever as the 'Vitality of the Heart,' started to go to work.

A refreshing feeling that was similar to the feeling he had when he was able to sleep peacefully because Ron had gone on vacation surrounded Cale. He then slowly closed his eyes and started to feel his body.

On the other hand, Simon also almost fell down. Blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, nose, and ears. Unlike Cale, who was suffering the backlash of using Ancient Powers, Simon had suffered for other reasons.

Simon inwardly cursed.

The strong gust of wind was a lot stronger than just strong. It was really strong.

The crowd was bending down which saved them but Simon was the only person that stood straight up. The strong current of wind slightly messed up his insides. (IDK if it happens irl, but pretend it does)

Fortunately, Choi Han was near and supported Simon, who was not in the best shape.

The civilians calmed down after a few moments. But, the terror on their face had not disappeared for a single moment. They looked at Simon, who was slightly trembling, and Cale who was not slightly trembling.

Nobody mentioned it but this made them realize something.

'They are humans.'

Nobody was an angel here and nobody was going to bother to explain it. Because it was already obvious.

At the same time, Choi Han gave Simon(who had just lost his footing and was suffering slight nausea) to Lock and tried entering Noble's area but was stopped.

" Citizens are not allowed inside."

The guards stopped him and Choi Han was almost ready to go past them, e̶v̶e̶n̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶u̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶c̶e̶ stopped when he saw Cale's eyes.

Cale was signaling Choi Han to not come as he was fine and Choi Han decided to do what Cale said.

"Young Master, Are you okay?"

Rosalyn asked Cale who responded with a yes. Cale looked that there were no heavy casualties as he sighed in relief.

"Ah"

Suddenly the screeching voice was heard by everyone. They looked up to see Redika floating, using levitation Magic.

"I never thought it would end like this."

The commoners were again struck by fear. In the spur moment of chaos, everybody forgot that Redika was still there.

The nobles were pretty much the same.

"Ah. So many colors of blood I like."

Redika looked around in the faces of many and instantly recognized Lock, Rosalyn, and Choi Han. A smile came to his face as very vicious thoughts came to his mind.

"Is he crazy?"

After a very true remark from Cale, Many mages began attacking Redika. Choi Han also disappeared from the sight of Cale.

"Ah, Hyung"

Lock started speaking as Simon finally recovered. He wiped off the traces of blood and looked around.

The civilians were looking at him with a wondrous expression. The nobles had pretty much the same expression but directed towards a certain Red-haired.

"I am fine."

Simon replied to Lock as his gaze turned towards Redika.

Redika smiled one final time as he teleported. But, Simon felt like his eyes met with Redika. Redika was crazy and Simon knew it but Simon felt that the Novel had either underestimated this lunatic's craziness.

Or the shit God who brought him here was crazy enough to make crazy people even crazier. With that, The unknown God got another batch of curses from Simon.

If Cage had heard what Simon said, she would surely have applied to become his apprentice. Or else, they would get along very well.

'Choi Han should have gone to deal with Redika.'

Redika took everyone who came with him. His specialty was teleportation magic. There was no way for the people attacking him to know where they went. However, the BoAH mentioned where Redika teleported to after disappearing from the plaza.

So, Choi Han will go there and fail to kill Redika according to TCF. But, Simon was slightly uncertain if that would really happen.

'At least, he wouldn't die.'

Choi Han was strong. Very strong. Even if the current Simon and Cale teamed up against Choi Han, the chances for victory are very slim. Almost non-existent.

Of Course, Nobody knows what the future holds. It will be a mystery to Simon until he reaches that point.

Lock also followed Choi Han with On and Hong after Simon told them he was fine.

Simon sighed one more time before plopping into the ground. This wasn't something very mature but Simon was exhausted mentally.

He had been absolutely cautious for a few hours. Without letting his guard down, It was enough to make him tired.

He sat down and looked up. The sky was clear and the black smoke had disappeared. It was a beautiful day. Too bad Arm wasn't going to stop because it's a beautiful day.

Simon's head turned to find some knights approaching him. They were probably cautious of him.

'Well, I seem pretty suspicious.'

His clothing wasn't weird. Instead, this was one of his best dress. But, What he did must have seemed really odd.

Telekinesis wasn't a thing here. But People were easily scared when they saw Simon moving the dead body without touching it. Plus the distance it was thrown away was pretty far.

This meant that Simon's power was no joke. If he could control things at such great speed. He was very dangerous. The Knights approached cautiously before surrounding Simon.

That's when they heard a voice from behind them.

"That's enough."

The Knights turned around and immediately bowed down. Simon also slightly tilted his head and saw a blonde-haired person.

With Blue eyes and Blond Hair. This person easily looked like a prince from a Fairy Tail. But, Simon knew that this guy was an actual prince from a Fairy Tale if Fairy Tale could be replaced with a Fantasy Novel.

The Handsome Prince was none other than the Crown Prince Alberu. Besides him was Rosalyn with dyed hair and eyes.

Alberu had recognized Rosalyn very easily. Rosalyn's magic was achievable only by a few individuals who were highly qualified.

Plus there were even fewer Mages who were as strong and young as Rosalyn. Alberu was very confused.

Why is the 1st princess of the Breck Kingdom in the Roan Kingdom?

No, Why is the former 1st princess of Breck Kingdom in the Roan Kingdom.

Also, Why was she with a noble? And, Why was she with the famous Trash among all the nobles. But, this was no time to ask questions.

Alberu had immediately ordered the priest to heal Cale. That's when he saw the other person. The knights were slowly approaching the white-haired individual.

Alberu was also suspicious but decided to step in after Rosalyn said 'He is a friend of mine.'

Alberu had even more questions. He had seen the beautiful shield of Cale and the mysterious power of the white-haired individual who Rosalyn introduced as Simon.

'Who is he? What are his relations? Is he also a foreigner or a citizen of Roan Kingdom?'

With countless questions, Albery approached Simon as he ordered the Knights.

"That's enough."

...

Simon and Rosalyn's eyes met and Rosalyn's gaze seemed to be saying

'It's been dealt with.'

He slightly smiled.

'Rosalyn is indeed very smart.'

A priest approached Simon as the Knights went away. Simon was fine actually. He only felt dizzy and slightly bled because of the strong gust of wind.

Still, Simon refrained from saying anything. He was fine but it still hurt. The priest took care of the pain as Simon slowly smiled.

'The divine power is really good.'

His powers could be used to heal but the backlash was a headache based on the severity of the injury. This power had limits, but had the same backlash every time.

The priest spoke while still looking at Simon's condition.

"Simon-nim. That mysterious power of yours was very strong. It seems very special. If not for you, I can't even imagine the tragedy that might have happened."

The priest spoke in a thankful voice. Speaking of which, the crowd seemed very quiet towards somebody that saved them but nobody was going to ask about that.

Simon was too indifferent to fame to act like a hero. If Cale considered fame to be bothersome, Simon considered it useless.

What use of being famous? Fame wasn't a thing he ever desired in his life. This could be credited to how his previous life but Simon wasn't the type to bother about it.

"It's nothing much. I just happen to have a few tricks up my sleeve. Instead, I am glad nobody was hurt."

Simon pretended to be humble and kept up a smile. But inside he was laughing.

'What mysterious power? What special?'

Special my ass.

'I was just pretending to act like I was controlling the dead body.'

Indeed, Simon had no powers like Telekinesis. It was all just a ruse. He introduced himself as a puppeteer because Simon didn't know what his powers were.

He still didn't know what his powers were but there was one thing he knew.

'I don't know. Then who would know? Nobody needs to know... f̶o̶r̶ ̶n̶o̶w̶'

Back when Simon first had to fight against Arm. He immediately made plans. The moment he noticed something was wrong.

'It's funny to think I managed to fool them all.'

What had happened to the corpse if Simon wasn't using things like Telekinesis? And Who protected the crowd?

Well, It was Simon who protected the crowd but not in the way people imagined. His powers were an unknown variable.

He didn't know what they were so he lied. He lied about his powers to everyone. Every time making the people see the wrong thing.

He was trying to fool others and had succeeded. This brought him satisfaction.

'Thank God.'

The priest finished his job as Simon stood up. He again looked at the sky. Momentarily making the people near him look up as well.

"It's such a beautiful day."

"Indeed."

The priest agreed as Rosalyn nodded. Alberu also internally agreed. After a few moments, Simon looked down and said.

"Let's go. He seems to be waiting for us."

Everyone turned around to see Cale coming near them with Taylor supporting him. The people started walking towards Cale.

But, Nobody seemed to have noticed that Simon had sneakily put an invisible wooden sculpture with a mask inside his coat when they were looking up.

It was none other than Zero who had been standing beside Simon this whole time. And also the one that blasted the dead body of the Suicide bomber towards the desolate/now destroyed mountain.

TO BE CONTINUED

Ahem, So the three chapters are finally over and I am busy now. So I will explain some things here quickly.

I KNOW THAT U R ALL CONFUSED. SO lemme explain.

I gave the dolls the power to turn invisible when I was creating them. Bet, None of you remembered that attribute. You can check. It's always been there.

and, Simon never used that attribute.

2nd. Zero is the only puppet that has the agility, strength, etc to throw the dead body flying.

3rd. Yes. Simon ordered Zero to grab the neck and use all its strength to throw the body. that's why it did an almost 180-degree turn.

4th. Simon has always hidden his powers. And I might have given too much but he is smart and cautious. like the tags suggested. He is smart.

5th. I don't even know what to say here so lemme tell you a fact. Alberu's official translation is Alver. I hate it.

6th. I remember what to say. It's complicated so Imma explain.

The 'God' that sent Simon here gave Simon powers. and those powers have many mysteries which already have been hinted at by me. u might find some if you look enough closely but don't search since I was joking. nothing like that exists.

Ahem, The God gave Simon powers but also added more enemies and made the enemies grow stronger. Since only bringing Simon is pretty much a one-sided victory to an already winning battle. So he made things harder for Simon.

And. Simon's powers can heal. that's the only change he can make into the bodies of people he has already modified. healing is infinite times while adding an attribute is only possible once. so when he wrote 'alcohol resistant' his one-time-use was wasted.

so he hates himself. now after healing some beggars. Simon knows that and you all also know that.

7th. Simon Appeared cuz. The black dragon is only 4 years old. He can't deal with making shields, dealing with the Mana bombs and keep a person invisible. He got in touch with magic very recently. Also, I did that for Simon to appear in the eyes of people. bcuz the title of this volume is

'The Birth of A hero or two...idk'

And. Cut me some slack, will ya.

That's it. Bye.

TEll me if you find any problem. I will check back in after sleeping. Currently, my eyes are almost about to close. I am barely awake.

AND

THE TERROR PLAZ INCIDENT ARC IS OVER. THERE WILL BE MORE LORE NOW. after Raon gets named Of course.
