Chapter 36: The Body Tempering System
When Alexander got back at the inn, he saw Lulu crying as Candice is taking care of Hector and and Kratos' bruises. Alexander furrowed his brows and when Lulu saw him, she rushed towards Alexander. "What happen?" He asked "We were just minding our own business when suddenly a young master from Crestfallen clan took an interest with Lulu and approach us." Candice explained. "However, when Lulu said that she was not interested, the young master suddenly got angry and he instructed his body guards to sieze Lulu but Hector and Kratos stopped them which is the reason of their bruises." She continued.
Alexander sigh and wipe the tears on Lulu's eyes "one's appearance can bring either danger or safety." He mumbled. Alexander patted Lulu's head to comfort her and provide some healing agent to Candice to use on Hector and Kratos. After a few minutes of comforting Lulu, Lulu fell asleep in his arms, he then handed Lulu to Candice since she was done tending to the bruises of Kratos and Hector and goes to his room.
Inside his room the system suddenly notify "Ding! Body Tempering System has been installed please check it host." Alexander smiled and immediately open his panel;

When Alexander saw the new tab, he didn't understand what he is seeing, what is the function or how this system works so he summoned Pixie "Pixie, how this Body Tempering Tab work?" Pixie smiled Master, with this system, you would be able to temper or refine one's body to exceed their physical limits and improve their strength." Pixie explained. When Alexander heard the description, he was shocked and happy at the same time since with this Tempering system, he might be able to achieve the perfect body for him.
As he was thinking on how to utilize this feature "By the way master, please be advise that this system can only be use by your disciples or descendants." She added. Alexander face darkened when he heard Pixie's follow up and sighed "I guess this would be good too." He just thought of it positively and plan what he would do to this new feature.
"Ding! Host, since the body tempering has been unlocked, the system advised the host to take a disciple to unlock the Mind Tempering system." The system notified. Alexander was startled when he received the notification hence he checked the mission board;

Alexander saw the mission and accepted it. Now he plans to take Kratos and Hector as his disciples but he was not in a hurry to accept them. "Let them feel their weakness first. Let them feel a thousand defeats and by then a single victory would make them feel ecstatic." He mumbles as he remember one of his old friend and rival in his past life. That friend of his taste not only a thousand but a hundreds of thousands of defeat before winning a single thing and since then, he didn't lose to anything cause as he said 'I strive for that sweet feeling hence I worked hard and I learned from all of the mistakes that lead me to defeat and polish my skills from those mistakes. This is my secret from being invincible.' there was a sad and longing in Alexander's eyes that he want to drink right now but he can't hence he shake his head and continue with planning with the upcoming auction.
The night passes uneventful in the inn but on the other kingdoms, some are panicking but some are happy specially around the Unholy Empire, the Dark Moore Kingdom. "My king! A messenger from Snow Mountain Kingdom has some news." Said by the man in dark cloak kneeling in front of an old man sitting on a dark throne. The old man sitting gestures to continue with the report "as per the news that was provided by our messenger-" he stammers and gulp before relaying the message "lo-lord Grid is still alive and well!" Silence hover around the hall and then in an empty space beside with the king a voice says "are you able to validate this information?" The messenger shakes his head "not yet my lord, we are still verifying it with our messenger in the snow mountain kingdom but there was a news that lord Grid will host the last Item in the auction." There was no reply from the voice but the king's hand tremble "prepare my carriage, I will personally visit the Snow Mountain Kingdom, send a letter to the Queen of Snow Mountain Kingdom that the King of Dark Moore Kingdom will make a visit." The king instructed and the messenger was dismissed.
After the messenger was gone, several men and women appear from the shadows. One of the men says "If this is truly Lord Grid then, you will be cured your highness and the Dark Moore Kingdom will rise again!" All of them nodded and can see a glint of hope on their eyes. "I know, that is why I will visiting personally to see if this is truly Lord Grid and if this person is a fake then-" an eerie aura was released by the King with a mixture of brutal energy and killing intent. "Make the preparations. Take all the gold that we have and make way to Snow Mountain Kingdom." He instructed and all of the people vanished.
