Dark Elf - Chapter 13 - A Nice Family Dinner

I entered a room,it was full of food,there was food on the long table in the middle but also on the furniture around the room.

I sat down next to Lega,my younger sister,in front of me were the twins and youngest ones:Ora (girl) and Hato(boy).

And at the left end of the long table was the king while the queen was at the right end.

They started eating while I was there trying to remember why I was here.After some time,the king asked me:

-Don't you want to eat?

-Eat-Eat? said the twins repeatedly .

-I only eat two meals per day.I said.

-And you never take your mask off?Asked the 5 years old Lega.

-Only when I'm alone.

-Well you must have your reasons.Said the Queen.

And this awkward moment during which I was there watching them eat continued for at least twenty minutes and we talked around four times.

During this time,I understood how every one of them felt towards me: The queen was wary of my every move and word,the king was neither interested in me nor uninterested,Lega was quite curious and already considered me as her brother whereas the twins that were only three didn't have any opinion on me yet.
