CHAPTER 18:

"So what did you find??" I asked brother once we were at our room and activated the soundless spell.

"Zorroquol meet with a an old woman whom I suspect to be Lady Olenna, they talked about the exotic fruits of Lys and how to transport them in large quantities to Westeros. I believe lady Olenna will try to grow them and sell them in Westeros, effectively cutting the money made by selling the fruits from Lys. But after striking the deal, the news of your little escaped reached them, and he excused himself and left right after." Brother explained what happened in his end.

"Is it possible that they were planning on selling the eggs, then steal them??" I theorized aloud "most likely, they seemed pretty keen on getting out of the city after hearing the news of the robbery." brother confirmed my theory.

"Why are we even doing all of this??" I asked confused about the situation. "They didn't mention that they were smuggling Griffin eggs, this put the risk and reward ratio off balance. Basically we are paid less for a dangerous job." Brother explained, "then we need to confront them!!" I shouted.

"Indeed, but not yet! We need patience!", "But..!!", "Let's say we confronted them!! What do you think will happen next?? We also need evidence to back up or claim.", "What about the eggs?? Aren't they evidence??", "Would you like to admit that you stole the eggs??" I couldn't answer to that.

"We might, just have to let it go for now. If we found nothing than nothing can be done about it *sigh*." brother said, 'I refuse to let them go! I will get something out of them no matter what!!' I thought solemnly.

"All hands on deck!!!" We heard shouting coming from above. "Must be some pirate attack!!" Brother said running towards the deck. 'Something to get my mind of this situation!! Huh... wait Zorroquol and Grore must be in the deck fighting right now, which leaves their chambers wide open!! I know what I am gonna do!!' I thought.

I slowly opened the door, I couldn't see anyone in the crew cabin, I slightly opened the door of Zorroquol's room. No one could be seen inside, I went inside and rummaged the top of desk a little, taking all the important notes inside and putting them in my satchel.

I went to his desk's drawer and took all the papers in it; however, on the last drawer the space inside seemed different than the rest, it seemed smaller than the rest. I kept searching for the difference, t'ill I realized that there is a fake bottom, I took it out and underneath it was a hefty sum of gold, some papers/letters and a book.

I put them all into my satchel, and returned everything to it's original place. I double checked to see if everything was the way it was, satisfied I slowly opened the door saw if anyone came back, then I slowly crept away and dashed towards the deck.

As I got into the deck I saw three ships, two of which were double the size of Baldwing, with the last being three times it's size. This time, the pirates didn't get into Baldwing like last times, I moved to the edge of the ship and started shooting spike at one of the two ships, they looked horrified at me.

Aftet 6 shoots of earth spike the boat was starting to sink, I saw from the corner of my eyes brother dealing with a woman in the big boat, the woman had blue hair and a tanned skin, they were shooting a lot of magic around, 'I will be a liability to brother if I join this fight!! I will deal with the second ship, then I will to the big ship!!'.

When I turned to start dashing towards the other side Baldwing rocked for a while, as screams of pirates resonated from the right side of Baldwing, seeing how the other ship was easily destroyed by me the other pirate ship decided to collide with Baldwing as pirates started jumping over.

I quickly went into the fray and started hacking with my sword, it took me a quarter hour to deal with all the pirates.

I looked over at brother's fight and saw that he was turning the tides of the battle to his favour, turns out the woman is a waterbender she can manipulate water thankfully brother can use fire, so he can evaporate the water she throws at him.
