"Come let's go. I can't wait to be back, what about you?" I ask as I start moving forward, with Brightnight following behind me.
~~~~~3 days later~~~~~
'Finally some signs of life! I didn't think this part of Essos was this desolate, if my map is right that must be Quarkash.' I say to myself, as Brightnight and I are soaring through the sky.
"Down Buddy!!" I shout so that Brightnight can hear me, as soon as I finish my sentence I feel myself losing speed and height.
"I will go buy some more necessities, You go ahead and scout for a spot to sleep at." I ordered Brightnight, who quickly took to the sky.
"I really miss mom." I whisper as I start jogging towards the city. It doesn't take me long to reach said city, pros of having magic on your side.
The city's structure is a carbon copy to that of Quarth, which isn't a surprise at all as it isn't far from it, so it's easily influenced by it.
"Excuse me, young man!!" I hear someone calling me from behind, he's a man in his fourtys with a long moustache, he is also wearing a weird hat that contradicts his clothes.
"Yes mister, is there some kinda of problem?" I ask, "Well no, I just wanted to ask you have you seen a girl on your way here? She has black long hair and beautiful ruby eyes, she is tall and wears a long dress and a straw hat." he ask with a weird look that I have never seen.
"No, I have not mister. Is she missing or something like that?" I ask, "Y.. No, it's just that she doesn't wanna show up to me. Have a good afternoon young man." he says before he goes down the road.
"That was weird. Again..." I say under my breath as I continue on the road, as I leave that encounter behind me.
It doesn't even take me 8 minutes to reach the gates of the city, and my prediction was spot on this city is Quarth 2 or rather mini Quarth.
'Wow, everything looks the same except less glamorous.' I think as I walk towards the nearest person my eyes saw.
"Excuse me, where is the nearest shopping district?" I ask in Quarthian a woman, whom wasn't wearing a Quarthian dress, she had brown features with brown eyes, but that's not what caught my attention rather it was the red cloak she was wearing.
I didn't need to observe it for long to see the dirt and scratches on it, 'must be a traveller too.'.
"Ahh, I was heading there myself, if you wish we could go together." she says in the thickest accent I have ever heard. "Thanks, that would save me a lot of time." I answer while following behind her as she takes the lead.
'Well this is awkward.' I say under my breath as we walk in utter silence, the only sounds coming from the people beside us.
After a few more minutes, I finally have had enough and decide to break the ice, "So, since when did you start travelling?" I ask in an effort to start a conversation.
"Not long actually.", 'a blatant lie your cloak is filthy and scratched all throughout' I think to myself not voicing my disapproval, "Maybe about a month or two, what about you?" she ends her speech with a question of her own.
"Wow, me too actually. I only started about four or five months, by the way which group do you normally travel with?" I ask, "I travel with my brother and the dying keepers." I add to avoid suspicion or being abducted.
'Wouldn't want that on my resume. At least no one is around, so that I can avoid being teased about it.' I think slowly realizing that I am zoning out of the conversation.
"... it has one of the best water systems around this city. Oh, right you should also avoid the sea food around here.", "let me guess, it's raw and unseasoned isn't it?" a sigh escaped my mouth.
Which earns a chuckle from the woman, "Right on the money, you must have visited Quarth. If you ever look for the culprit, then look no further than YiTi." she says stifling her laughter.
"Right, guess that that makes YiTi my last destination ever." I say earning more snickers from the woman.
Just as I finish speaking we take a sharp turn left and come face to face with a road full of merchants, "It seems that we must part ways here young boy. I hope you find what you are looking for quickly, for the night is dark and full of terrors." she imparts her last line and leaves, without as much as looking back.
'My luck at meeting crazy people is just outstanding, I hope it doesn't become a constant thing in my life.' I think to myself as the woman melts in the sea of shoppers.
