CLASS NAMES AND PURPOSE
Artillery Class: Predominately a strike aircraft, designed to carry a high capacity and assortment of suspended ordnance. Requiring a single aircraft to complete a mission that could take dozens of standard strike aircraft.
Reaper Class: Aerial superiority fighters, designed with the sole purpose of attaining and maintaining aerial dominance of an airspace.
Stealth Reaper Class: An upgrade to the standard Reaper Class. Alongside aerial superiority, Stealth Classes have the additional goal of ambushing and assassination of target objectives through stealth coatings and design. Their pilots have the additional task of base infiltration and data extraction inside or out of the cockpit. Due to the difficulty and rarity of Astrapi, the Stealth Reaper Class is an extremely rare aircraft to produce outside pure design features. As such, only one Full Astrapi Reaper Class (FARC) has been developed and is currently active.
Heavy Artillery Class: An upgrade to the standard Artillery Class. Designed for both objective obliteration and enemy interception annihilation. Carrying enough weaponry to destroy any interception aircraft and or missiles, as well as the target objective. Heavy Artillery Classes require large amounts of space for weaponry, as well as the lift and powerplant capable of sustained flight. For the class's goals to be met, high amounts of technology and weaponry must be used. Resulting in high development and operational costs. To ensure the capability of this new class, a temporary, well-trusted, escort will be provided to safeguard the untested concept.
AERIAL HIERARCHY
Each Aerocord has its own specified task. That being said, every Aerocord regardless of primary objectives, is an aerial domination fighter. Excluding pilot skill from the equation and basing results purely on the aircraft capabilities. Missions are assigned to the aircraft best suited for the mission objective. This list will go over which aircraft is best for which situation and why. This list will be marked from the most capable plane via the task, to the least viable plane including modern-day jets of specified type, ranging from the top (most capable) to the bottom (least capable).

The Royal Sakura is a lethal and versatile aircraft. Being well equipped and adaptable to any and all possible situations. It alone can deal with multiple targets from hundreds of miles away at the flick of a switch. And is faster than all but one of our current Aerocord. It can handle any task given to it regardless of its aerial domination or target obliteration.
The Phantom Spirit is heavily oriented towards aerial domination. Thanks to its unique ability "Cloak", Phantom Spirit is able to bypass even the most modern radars and weaponry with ease. Alongside its ability, it has outstanding agility and speed characteristics. But due to the Cloaks mechanisms, secondary armaments such as missiles or bombs cannot be implemented. Reducing its strike capabilities to near zero. Due to Phantom Spirit's extreme 100+ G-loads, average pilots cannot fly Phantom Spirit anywhere near maximum strength.
Cruel Jester is focused on deceiving the enemy rather than engagement. In order to achieve that objective, Cruel Jester is equipped with hundreds of small-sized drones, code-named "Mirages". The Mirages are peppered across the top side of its wings and fuselage. Jettisoning out of their indented cast when deployed. Leaving the flat bottom side untouched for suspended weaponry of all sorts. The Mirages mimic everything from heat signatures, radar cross-sections, as well as displaying a holographic mimic of Cruel Jester to visually trick bandits. That said, Mirages lack supersonic speeds and weaponry. Forcing Cruel Jester to deal with any opposition manually in a slow dogfight.
Violet Vertex is an extremely heavy and unmaneuverable aircraft by Aerocord standards. Sitting just below modern jet fighter capabilities in agility and responsiveness, it's leagues behind normal Aerocord agility. Despite this fact, Violet Vertex is one of the most lethal aircraft to face in small numbers. Due to its wormhole core "Shattered Time", Violet Vertex is able to open small wormholes. Allowing small materials to pass by in a one-kilometer sphere around the aircraft. Shattered Time, although unable to move aircraft itself through its opening, is fully capable of transporting/redirecting missiles, bombs, and even airborne ammunition. Turning the advanced weaponry of an attacker, into their own achilles heel. Although powerful on paper, Shattered Time is extremely difficult to use in practice, especially during active dogfights. Due to having to manually input each wormholes position, angle, direction, and range, an EXTREMELY skilled pilot must be used in order to use Shattered Time in a quick and effective manner during combat. Due to the difficulty of control, a limited amount of wormholes can be active and controlled at once. Increasing the stress/workload on the pilot and Shattered Time as more and more bandits engage Violet Vertex. The Violet Vertex is able to carry a handful of missiles to assist in aerial domination.
Smoked Barrage is the second developed Aerocord. Being the aircraft to debut the, now standard, flight assistant computer. Due to it being one of the earliest developed Aerocords, Smoked Barrage is one of the weakest amongst the Aerocords. Smoked Barrage carries a medium-sized capacity of suspended ordnance with moderately high agility. Having an early model of the MSABT engines, the transition of power between stages is rough and sudden, reducing ease of control and stability in flight. The Smoked Barrage may need an update in the near future to resharpen its dulled edge.
Now that we've gone over the aircraft's strengths in its rolls, let's review their strengths against each other. The aircraft will be listed from most dangerous aircraft to it (top) to least dangerous aircraft to it (bottom). As well as if it would win against that aircraft in a fight, marked with W for would win versus this aircraft. And L, for would lose versus this aircraft. There will be two categories, with and without their Aerocord abilities, such as Phantom Spirit's Cloak or Cruel Jester's Mirages. After the listing, I will explain the unexpected victories and losses, as well as the ties (T). During these "matches", all weaponry available to the aircraft will be used, including missiles.

Without their abilities, these fights boil down to their avionics and missiles. The Royal Sakura with its incredible speed and newest radar has the highest advantage over the competition.
Without Cruel Jester's Mirages, the Cruel Jester sits on the same playing field as the Smoked Barrage. Having both similar speeds, avionics, and missile payloads, resulting in their tie.
The Violet Vertex sits near the bottom of each engagement, only topping the defenseless Phantom Spirit. Violet Vertex is quite slow and has a relatively low service ceiling, reducing its missiles max range compared to its accomplices. Despite this, it at the very least has the ability to carry a hand full of missiles, increasing its max kill range.
The Phantom Spirit although near impervious to infrared missiles, and extremely lethal in a close-range dogfight, is near helpless against long-range radar-guided missiles without its ability to Cloak. It may have extremely high agility and speeds, but those alone won't be enough to constantly evade the hordes of missiles that may be fired at it. That said, with those two strengths alone, evading a handful of fired missiles may be a possibility.

With abilities thrown into the fray, the outcomes drastically change. The weak almost helpless Phantom Spirit suddenly becomes almost untouchable, losing its single weak point. But despite being unkillable itself, against the wormholes of the Violet Vertex. Taking a shot may end up in shooting itself down, ending that conflict in a stalemate. It's the same case against the Royal Sakura and Violet Vertex. The Royal Sakura being able to fire volleys of missiles at the Violet Vertex is meaningless if all of them are just sent right back.
The Violet Vertex although extremely good against low numbers crumbles against a horde. Even though the Cruel Jester's hundreds of Mirages are nothing more than red herrings, that's all that's needed to confuse and overwork Violet Vertex pilot. Allowing the actual Cruel Jester to swoop in and deliver the fatal blow amidst the chaos.
That said, although the Cruel Jester has crippling numbers, the Royal Sakura was built with that unlikely possibility in mind. Housing the avionics to lock several dozens of hostile aircraft in tight formations, the Royal Sakura would melt through Cruel Jester's Mirages. Leaving Cruel Jester as a helpless child against Royal Sakura's long-reaching weaponry.
