CHAPERT 12

I arrived at our apartment at the exact time. And I started preparing our dinner. Cassy got home as well. After everything was prepared, we started our dinner. Cassy wants to talk with me about Zion and I.

"Arien, are you OK now?"

"Yes, I found a place around the school where I calmed myself, and it was silent."

"That's great! I expected you to wallow in self-pity for a long time. And it's a waste knowing that, despite Zion's good looks, he has an unpleasant personality."

"Yeah, well, that's the way he is. I'm tired of him."

"Try to avoid him or ignore him when he's talking to you." I nodded to Cassy to end our conversation. And, because so much had happened to me, we took an early nap.

When I wake up in the morning, I feel heavy all over my body. I told Cassy that I couldn't make breakfast. I got on my scooter and drove it to school. There was a luxury car in the next line while we waited for the traffic to clear. Someone called me as the window moved down to open. "Arien!" I turned my head to see who was calling, and it turned out to be Zion. My tongue clicked when I saw him and I turned my head in the other direction to ignore him and brought my scooter backwards to avoid him. When the light turned green, I dashed to my scooter. When I arrived at school, I parked my scooter immediately and went to my room quickly. I felt relief when Zion didn't catch me.

In the classroom, I just fell asleep because I didn't feel well. When our class finished, Nicole asked if I was OK. I told her, "No. I think I'm going to have a fever." She asked if I needed anything and offered to bring it to me. And I told her I was going with her to the cafeteria. After we got our food, I felt very dizzy, and I suddenly sat down at the other table. "I'm sorry." I apologized. Nicole dragged me over to our table.

Dave and the others had arrived at our table, too. Dave asked if I was okay because I appeared to be ill. Everyone was making fun of Zion because they blamed him for the reason I was sick. "I'm OK, Dave, I just feel dizzy." Zion touched my head to check if I had a fever and told me to go to rest in the infirmary and take medicine for the fever. Dave carried me to the infirmary to rest, but Zion offered to assist, saying, "I don't want everyone to think I'm bad here. I'll take her there." I wanted to struggle, but then I passed out. Zion rushed to bring me to the infirmary. Dave followed us to check on me as well. We left Cassy and the others at the table. Then Jake suddenly asked Cassy. "Cassy, why does Arien need to wear a wig and put a lot of makeup on her face?" Cassy and Nicole were stunned and looking to each other. Cassy responds to Jake, "What are you talking about, Jake?" Cassy clarified things for Jake. "It's OK, you don't have to hide from me. "I witnessed everything." Lawrence was confused about what Cassy, Jake, and Nicole were talking about and yelled, "Hey guys, what the heck are you talking about? What do we not understand? What makeup? What exactly is a wig?" Lawrence was very loose. "You don't have to know about it, it very confidential for Arien. Let's just respect her." Nicole stated, and Jake stopped asking Cassy about the reason.

Zion and Dave were beside me. Dave told Zion that he could go back. But Zion refused him and asked, "Why are you pushing me away? Do you really like Arien, Dave?" And Dave replied, "Yes, I've liked her since the first time I met her. Also, please stop making fun of her. She had enough already from her high school."

"What did Dave mean in high school?" Zion wondered as he sat down in the chair. Because of the noise, I awoke. Dave inquired as to how I was feeling right now. And I said, "Not good, you're being noisy." I smiled at Dave and he pinched my nose. "Get well soon! Our babies will arrive later." Zion was frowning and irritated with us. "Zion, thank you for carrying me here to the infirmary." I stated, and I smiled at him. It shocked Zion when he knows I am not angry with him. "Arian, I'm sorry about yesterday." Zion apologized to me and I told him, "Forget about it and just stop talking with me and avoid me." Zion clenched his fist because he thought that Arien wasn't angry with him. He stood up and walked away. School ended a few hours later, just as I was about to get on my scooter. And Dave reminds me of practice, since our motorcycles are going to arrive soon. Zion watched us and mumbled to himself, "Why did Dave like Arien?" Jake responded to him, "I think Arien is a kind girl. Why don't you get to know her first so you will know the reason, why Dave is crazy for her." Zion remembered Arien's words from earlier. "But she told me to avoid her and to ignore her." And Jake answered him, "It's your fault because you bullied her." Zion looked at Jake intensely. "Hey, I didn't bully her! I'm just stating the truth!" Zion yelled at Jake.

Later, after I arrived at my apartment, I went to my room immediately to rest. "Ah, I didn't go to my class because of this fever." I murmured when Cassy called me to eat before going to rest. And I rejected her and told her I didn't have an appetite. While thinking about a lot of things, including Zion, I fell asleep.

When I arrived in the parking lot, Zion was standing there, looking as if he was waiting for someone. "Let's just ignore him." I mumbled. Zion slowly came to me, and approached me. "How are you feeling now, Arien?" I ignored him and continued on my way to class. Zion grabbed my hand and all the students who witnessed us started murmuring. I looked at all the students and whispered, "Ahhhha! Are they creating gossip against me again?" I shook my hand in order to lose Zion's grip.

"Let me go, Zion! I don't want to be a public enemy here because of you!" But Zion kept grabbing me. Jake came to us to stop Zion from holding me. "Zion, let go of her. Look around at all the students, who are all staring at Arien with ferocious intensity. It's extremely dangerous for Arien." Jake stated. "Thanks Jake." I said.

After our morning class ended, we went to the cafeteria for lunch. I told Cassy and Nicole to sit in the corner so Zion wouldn't see me, but I didn't expect any trouble to come my way. Someone slammed it into our table and shouted at me just as I was about to eat something. "How dare you, witch!"
