Trio vs Trio

At the doorstep, stood three tall middle-aged men. They looked exactly the same. From the tip of their hair to the bottom of their shoes. They all wore the same thing. A tight yellow onesie that stretched all over their body. You could see a few things sticking out in places things should never stick out. Gross. They also had white hair and all three of them had a tattoo of what looked like a rabbit on their necks.

"What the hell is this?" asked Psyren, in a confused tone.

"I don't know what they are, but they look fucking disgusting." added on Phantom

I couldn't disagree with them, they certainly looked weird. You try acting normal while staring at three middle aged men who were practically naked.

"We are the Truplet Triplets. We heard you guys whispering from the fifth floor so we came to stop you in your villainous tracks. So surrender now or prepare to face the wrath of the Truplet Triplet." Said the large one in the middle.

"I'm sorry, did you just say you heard us from the fifth floor, while we where whispering on the fourth floor?" It was Phantom who asked this time.

"Yes, the Truplet Triplets have good sense of hearing." This time it was the smallest one that spoke.

"I can't take this seriously. Can we just beat them and move on to the seventh floor please?" I asked.

Before they even got a chance to answer, the triplets started groaning and moaning. Their body started changing as well. Their hair became longer, spreading all over their bodies. Their ears became pointier and started increasing to the point it passed their heads and kept on growing. Their nose began flattening itself and turned pink, while their eyes went fully black. The biggest part that changed were their legs. Their legs became skinny and long and their knees started bending outwards, whereas their toes were replaced with tiny white versions of them and it came with that looked like paw pads. They also grew one meter taller.

"Looks like we're fighting. Phantom take on the big one in the middle. Atlas go for the one to the left. The small one is mine."

And just like that another fight broke out. As soon as Psyren gave orders out , the triplets also attacked. The big one leaped off the ground and onto the ceiling. He used the ceiling as a jumping board and leaped right towards Phantom, aiming a kick at his head. But before the kick hit the target, Phantom himself dispersed. Yes, he dispersed, his whole body turned into this black smoke like substance and the big rabbit-man just went right through. As soon as he did, Phantom grabbed him by the back of his neck and slammed him into the wall like he was a ragdoll. This is why he wasn't threatened by a gun being pointed at him.

His sister was doing great as well. The small rabbit-man kept trying to bounce and kick her but she kept stopping him midair and would then hit him against the ceiling. It was kind of funny if you look at it from a different angle.

As for me, my opponent was just observing me. We were walking around each other, waiting for the other one to attack first. So I took the initiative. I put my hands behind me and summoned five throwing knives. I wanted to act like I got them from my back-pocket, just in case. I threw three of them, each of them to a vital part of his body. The eyes, the throat and the heart.

The man didn't even look worried or scared. He just jumped up a good two meters in the air. This is what I was waiting for. I quickly summoned a crossbow and shot it at the man in the air. He couldn't use anything as a footing, the ceiling was still a good meter behind him. I shot the crossbow and it struck home, home being the man's thigh. He winced in pain as he came crashing down.

'Don't let up.', I told myself. I put my hands behind me again and summoned a staff, while running towards the man. Sure I had handicapped him, but he still had one good leg.

I brought down the staff while aiming for his head. But he was too fast, or I was too slow. He propelled himself off a wall, sliding to the other side and he was back on his feet. A good 10 meters away from me.

I looked at the others. Phantom was doing well, he kept using his smoke form to avoid attacks, while also dealing damage when he found the opportunity. Psyren looked like she was doing fine on her own. In fact it looked like she would be the first to finish.

As for me, I charged towards my opponent as he did the same. The second he was near me. he brought his left leg towards to my ribs. I wasn't fast enough to block the kick and hit me dead in the center of my chest. The blow was strong enough to make me feel a bit nauseas, but other than that the armor was doing a good job.

The others looked like they were done with their fights and were watching me now. I put away the staff and took out the crossbow. It was the most effective weapon against him. I aimed and started shooting. The man kept leaping from wall to wall, when something weird happened. He tried to move but it looked like he was frozen. The arrow landed right on his other thigh. As soon as he fell I summoned a taser and put him out.

"Thanks for the help Psyren."

"No problem." She replied. "Now lets move onto the next floor."
