Chapter 31: Tranquility to Blood to Insanity

Third person's POV

As the army of the underworld came closer to the island. Aquafina and her water nymphs readies their traps underwater.

"Girls, make sure it's big and strong. We must sink every ship that comes near our home" Aquafina commanded.

They created a huge water attribute magic circle and chanted a spell. Sky, together with Crimson and Flarius, stormed the sky, armed and prepared to fight till death.

"Ironscales and Whitemanes, this day we will offer our lives to our nation. May the gods. as well as our ancestors watch over us!" Crimson shouted.

"All hail the Ironscales! All hail the Whitemanes!" Flarius added.

"We will provide you swiftness and tactics. May the god of wind and fortune bless our hooves" Sky replied.

Tufan and the Spirithooves on the other hand used earth magic to create layers of earth wall surrounding the island.

"We will protect the inner groves! To honour the prides of different races working together. We, Spirithooves, promised you to protect your homes until we die!" Tufan shouted. Due to that war cry, the monster island's army's spirits rose.

Horns of war played as the Underworld Army approached the island. Hundreds of boats came flooding as Aquafina ready her spell. When the boats was near enough, Aquafina chanted;

"Listen to me o sea and sky, descend and hear our cry. Bring forth your power and show us your wrath, give us destruction and destroy thy path!" Tornados and giant waves came, crushing a vast number of ships. Skeleton soldiers and undead of any kind fell into the ocean. Gargoyles flew towards the sky and screached as if they are taunting, looking for a fight.

"Hey there big boys" Venna and her harpies flew at high speed, cutting the gargoyles with their sharp claws. As the bodies of the gargoyles rained, Crimson's battalion stormed the remaining ships and killed everyone they crossed path with.

They have done everything they could to stop the underworld army but...

"Citizens of this lowly island, celebrate for I am here!" Another ship appeared. A man with wings and horns said "I am Car'hul, the demon of attraction"

"And who's attracted to whom?" Venna said and blew a gust of wind towards Car'hul, only to be deflected by him flapping his wings.

"I am the embodiment of richness and looks. How dare you mocked me?" Car'hul grunted "Demons! Go forth and crush those who mocked me!" Hundreds of demons came flying towards the island. Venna, Crimson and their battalions clashed with the demons.

"You pesky creatures! I always wanted to kill you!" Venna said as she ripped a demon's head apart.

"Focus Venna" Crimson replied while swinging his sword killing a bunch of demons in one swift move.

"B***h, I'll start with you" Car'hul said and pointed his finger at Venna. Then, a black beam came out piercing Venna.

"Lady Venna!" A harpy shouted as Venna's body came falling towards the sea. Aquafina caught her and brought her body to the shore.

"You saw what happened when someone tries to mock the Army of Death City. We are under the commands of the lord of death and you dared to mock us! You will pay for the humiliation you caused!" Car'hul shouted. The demons continued on fighting the battalion. Aquafina and her nymphs summoned more tornadoes to disrupt the enemies' formation.

"Stay firm my friends, the gods will protect us!" Aquafina said.

"Need back up! Arachnids at the other side of the island!" Tufan shouted as he ran towards the end of the island.

"Harpies go! The Ironscales will hold the line here!" Crimson shouted.

"I will accompany you" Flarius added and they followed Tufan.

"Creatures of the land! Prepare to be succumbed by darkness! As I, Car'hul, the demon of attraction, will bring forth death!" Car'hul said. The morning turned night, and the tornadoes vanished. The sea showed its rage as the waves grew larger and destructive. Car'hul laughs hardly looking at the island's defense slowly falling.

"Girls! It's time to show what we can really do" Aquafina shouted.

"By the power of the moon and sea, we call upon the power thee. Bring forth your child and feed her, destroy the demons and make them suffer!" The water nymphs chanted in sync as a giant water dragon rose from the depths.

"Woah, what is that?" Crimson asked.

"Many legends from different places all over the world knew about the water dragon who ate the other moon. Long ago, there were supposed to be two moons orbiting the earth. Due to that, the earth became imbalance. The gods made a huge creature to swallow the other moon and repair the earth. That is, the water dragon you see now." Aquafina explained.

The water dragon ate the demons it sees and ignores the ironscales and the whitemanes.

"Hurry up and end this. We can't hold it for long" Aquafina said and they nodded.

Crimson, together with Sky dashed to Car'hul and tried to slash him. Car'hul blocked it with his bare hands and smiled.

"Hehe, so you decided to fight me head on. I like the enthusiasm" Car'hul chuckled and pierced his arm onto Crimson's chest, getting his heart.

"Crimson!" Sky cried as he flew at high speed away from Car'hul. Car'hul dropped Crimson on the ship and went after Sky. Sky flew as fast as he can but Car'hul appeared in front of him.

"Where are you going you sweet little pony?" Car'hul smiled innocently as he touched Sky's wings "You must be tired. Flying all day in the sky. Let me help you" Sky gulped as Car'hul touched the bone structure of his wings. Car'hul then ripped his wings and dropped it into the ocean. Sky, without his wings fell from the sky but Car'hul quickly caught him.

"Please, let me die painlessly" Sky begged.

"Sure" Car'hul answered with a smile as he chopped Sky's head off. "Well that was easy."
