Chapter 47: Through the Flames
Jin's POV
"How far is the NLEU?" I asked. I'm on the back of a pick up truck right now, with Jane while it's being driven by Captain Emray. Ashley's also inside.
Following us is Jasmine and Mark, riding a motorcycle and then Eva and Tristan which are also riding a motorcycle.
"We're still 5 miles away from there. If we won't encounter any problems on the way, we can get their in 4 to 12 minutes" Jasmine replied.
"You and your big mouth" Jane said.

I looked at where Jane is attacking.

There were a blockade of these fire demon acolytes, blocking the road. There were some who tried to attack us but Jane managed to imprison them. They stopped attacking and observed us in a distance.
The pick up truck stopped, so does the motorcycles. Jasmine and Eva looked at the blockade and approached us.
"I can try and wipe them out" Jasmine said. She can?
[Jasmine level 60 Ranger]
She's level 60 now. She leveled up, but we're still stronger than her.
"And how will you do that?" Eva asked.
"With this" Jasmine replied and changed her pistol to a bazooka.
[Jasmine used Firearm: Bazooka]
"You can't wipe them out with just that, but I can help you do the job" Eva replied.
"Deal" Jasmine nodded and smiled. Jasmine aimed her bazooka at the blockade and shot a missile. Eva then stretched her arms and casted a spell.
[Eva used Hurricane]
Then a swirl of razor sharp wind blades whirl towards the enemies. Their attacks causes quite a commotion. The road lit ablaze as the missile exploded upon impact, Eva's hurricane managed to strengthen the fire and mixed with dust creating a massive smoke that covered the area.
When the smoke cleared out, instead of corpses, there was a force field protecting the blockade. It looks like their leader showed herself.
A woman was standing in front of the blockade holding a staff. It seems that she was the one who casted the force field. Let's see her information.
[Monster Name: Fire Demon Priestess]
[Monster Level: 99]
[Chosen of the fire demon Ifrit. These priestesses serve as the keys to open the seal]
"Hey guys... I think I have just found out something" I said "Looks like the key to opening these seals are priestesses like her"
"So we need to kill the keys" Jasmine replied.
"Right... but how can we get pass through that forcefield?" I asked. The priestess' forcefield was still up.
"Let me" Eva stretched her arm towards the forcefield. Then, a blue light beam struck the forcefield.
[Eva used Mana Trace]
[Eva used Fortification]
The blue light covered the entire forcefield, then it focused on one spot.
[Eva used Mana Magnet]
Then, the forcefield started to disappear. When the forcefield fully disappeared...
"Attack!" the priestess said and then, the acolytes attacked.
[Jasmine used Firearm: MK14]
Her bazooka then turned into a rifle that is capable of rapid fire. She then shoots down the acolytes. Tristan and Eva are also shooting with their arrows.
[Eva used Mana Arrows]
[Tristan used Sound Arrow]
So sound arrow is the name of his spell. It is an arrow made up of mana and music, and then shot using his bow-harp.
I jumped from the pick up truck and readied Leo.
[Jin used Lion's Breath]
And engulfed Leo in flames.
"Good luck" Jane said and casted her spells.
[Jane used Mana Regeneration Enhancement]
[Jane used Enchantment]
[Jane used Swiftness]
[Jane used Toughness]
[Jane used Magic Enhancement]
[Jane used Sharpness]
She casted her spells consecutively. Most of the acolytes were shot by Jasmine, Eva and Tristan. Although, there were some who dodged or got lucky, I managed to kill them in their tracks.

It went on and on and on, they just kept coming. The priestess just stood there, looking at her comrades dying one by one.
After a few minutes, all of the acolytes were dead. Then, the priestess chuckled.
"den éprepe na tous skotóseis" She said "o theé tou káto kósmou, zontánepse aftá ta ptómata. Chaíre o vasiliás sou ton nekrón!" She chanted.
"What is happening?" Jasmine asked. The bodies started moving. S**t, they're turning into zombies.
"They're turning into zombies. Quick, destroy their bodies!" I said.
[Eva used Incinerate]
Eva managed to burn most of them, but there were some who were successfully zombified. Jasmine, Tristan and I killed all of them.

I am now level 91, while Jane's level 76. Eva's level 85, Tristan's level 71 and Jasmine's level 61. Eva's already catching up to me pretty quickly.
"Now, she doesn't have any minions left" Jasmine said.
"You're right. Jin, we support you from the back while you attack her head on" Jasmine added.
"Sure" I replied and dashed at the priestess.
[Priestess used Fire Bolt]
She tried to hit me with a ball of fire but Jane quickly blocked it with her cube.
[Jane used Aqua Cube]
I tried to slash her arm but she managed to block it with her staff.
[Priestess used Fire Breath]
She then breathed fire at me but I quickly stepped back and dodged it. She then swung her staff but Jasmine shot it so it didn't hit me. I then kicked her and she flinched.
[Eva used Lightning Spear]
Eva then shot a bolt of lightning at the priestess.
[Priestess used Fire Forcefield]
She blocked Eva's lightning spear. I lunged at her and tried to stab her abdomen but she blocked my sword using her staff. I quickly held her staff and grabbed it. It turned into ashes as soon as I got it. It then reappeared back at her hands
[Priestess used Great Flare]
"Jin!" Eva shouted.
