Kenny and Timeskip

(4 years later)

Outside a tavern, in the most unlawful location within the walls, we see Leon bashing some guys' head into the table while people within the said tavern, were blasting singing, and watching the spectacle happen with a beer in their hand.

Leon is now 5ft 8 inches in height with his long silver hair tied up in a ponytail. His body is very well built pulsing with power. Even with the carnage that is being ensued by him, he keeps a stoic and cold face with no emotions sans the purple flames dancing wildly within his eyes.

Leon stops the head-bashing, collects his money, and gets out without a word. As he got out, people started whispering things about the 'Demon Purple' and another one of his successful missions. Leon could not bother to care about the rumors or the heavy bounty over his head. He has lost count of the number of people he has killed. This is a 'kill or be killed ' kind of world and he has no intentions of dying so soon.

As he got out of the tavern, he could spot his uncle. His iconic hat and cigar which he always has on him, also has his holsters and guns hanging limply from them. He looks and spots Leon, he smirks and Leon gritted his teeth in annoyance. He chucked the money bag at him and says,

"Uncle Kenny, this is the last of my debts, you cannot come chasing me asking for money and stuff. I owe you nothing." Leon finishes off with a tone of finality. Looking at him, Kenny puffs out some smoke and laughs. He throws his arm around Leon, much to Leon's annoyance, and says;

"Leo, I never cared about your money and I certainly as hell do not care about you either. I took you in a spur of the moment and you grew up to be the man you are right now through your hard work and your own perseverance."

Kenny had to admit, Leon worked really hard, day and night just to get strong. After that incident, Kenny took Leo to one of his hideouts Leon woke up after 2 days. Kenny never thought he will raise another kid after the fiasco with Levi but apparently, he could not be the monster he sought out to be. After getting the kid fed and cleaning him up, Kenny took him out to 'sightseeing'. On his first day in the Underworld, Leon had to witness people getting brutally beaten, tortured, sold, and even killed. The kid obviously could not handle it and he hurled out the contents in his stomach.

After the kid composed himself, Kenny explained the workings and what to look out for to survive in this shit-hole. Kenny then whipped him a personal physical training regimen which Leon follows faithfully even to date with increased intensity.

The kid popped his kill cherry by killing the people that tortured him two years ago. (A/N- Yes, two years passed since the incident) Leon is now physically a bit weak but I taught him how to use the ODM gear (got them illegally) and he mastered it in a short time. I also taught him the art of using a gun and told him that these were sufficient for the monsters within.

During the next two years, the kid made a name for himself, killing all the criminals with a huge bounty on them. He never killed any innocents, not wanting to embrace the monster that lies asleep within him. Sooner or later, the kid will break and go on a rampage. When I asked him about it, he told me that he loved killing monsters and wanted to purge them out of existence. I could see the mad gleam and the crazy fire dancing in his eyes. I decided he had to get out of the Underworld, so I told him about the Military recruitment that will take place in a few months, and as expected, he was ready to kick some "Titan ass".

After that conversation, the kid calmed down and laid low for a while before bashing some guys for a week and giving me all the money in the name of 'debt'.

"I don't care, old man, you take this money and buy yourself something pretty" Leon replied with his own smirk plastered on his space.

Kenny stopped cold on his tracks and looked at Leon incredulously, "Who are you calling an old man you brat! I still am in my prime and can kick your ass any day" he exclaimed

Leon laughed, "Go and tell that to you of the day before yesterday where I swept the floor clean with you like a rag". Leon laughed even harder looking at the gloomy and cheated expression on Kenny's face.

"But in all seriousness old man, if it weren't for you, I never would have gotten to this point and I would have stayed the same; completely naive and oblivious to how the world runs and would have died without knowing how," Leon said with genuine gratitude lacing his voice.

"Bah", Kenny scoffed, "I just did it on a whim" he asserted.

"Sure sure, let's see how long you will deny it... tsundere," Leon said playfully before bolting out looking at the murderous expression on Kenny's face.

(A few days later)

Leon was all set for his journey to the military camp. Kenny is not much of a goodbye person so he just waved Leon off. Leon is well aware of the breach of Wall Maria, and he is even more determined to kill the monsters outside after dwelling with the ones within.
