And now a word from the author.

Hello and how do you do. I would like to start with introducing myself, and why I have written this novel.

I am a person who recently recovered from an eating disorder, so I will be creating a character who will may face dilemmas I have faced in my own life. However, you must remember that I am writing because I want to, not because I want to escape from reality. My life is quite nice now. I would simply like to share my experiences, but if that is not okay, or is triggering for anyone, please remember that everything will be ok. Life is tough and it sucks sometimes, but it will always get better. You are allowed to have a crappy time, to feel frustrated or pissed, however you shouldn't let life get the best of you. You need to grab it by the balls and tell it to fuck off, because you are awesome and deserve everything good in the world. (Just not at the expense of others.) I hope that this novel will help you, my reader, to get through any hard time you are facing, and if it doesn't, remember that there is no shame in having a therapist. Anyways, I have always wanted to write a novel, however due to a lack of time and ability to get off my lazy ass, I have not pursed it. Thankfully, my loving family has supported me through every tough time, and I think I am now ready to create my own, (at least semi-presentable) story. While I am not sure where my novel will take me, I hope the journey will be interesting. The only constant that I have decided on will be the fact that the female lead will be badass, and while she may have her own hard times, she will always be strong. None of that white lotus bullshit. Which brings me to my next warning. As there will be foul language and perhaps a few horrible situation, if you or your guardian are not comfortable with it, please find another novel. On that "pleasant" note, I hope to publish a chapter a week, more if I have enough time, and I am always happy to receive suggestions. Please do feel free to comment.

Now, the first chapter or so will be a short story I wrote a few years ago. It is not related to the story.
