The Last Quincy

Two days have passed since Ichigo achieved the stage of Shikai. Kuroi and Ichigo now sit on a rooftop. Kuroi opens his laptop and clicks on an icon. A steamy video pops up on the screen.

"What is this?" asked Ichigo.

"The truth is that I didn't go to the live broadcast to make sure that no Hollows attacked. I went to get this tape from Keigo. Think of this as an award for completing a job," said Kuroi.

"Is this the girl's locker room?" asked Ichigo.

"Yeah and we get to see everything," said Kuroi.

The two boys stare at the laptop screen and their noses start to bleed. The longer the video plays, the more enticed they become.

"I didn't think that Tatsuki had such a good body. She always seemed super masculine," said Ichigo.

"Forget about her and look at Orihime. I knew they were giant, but I didn't know that they could bounce like that," said Kuroi.

"Hey guys, we got a new-," said Rukia.

Rukia stops talking when she sees what's on the screen. Her nose starts to bleed as well. She quickly hides her nosebleed with her hand.

"Why the hell are you looking at that in public!" exclaimed Rukia.

Ichigo and Kuroi practically jump when they hear Rukia's voice. The laptop flies into the air and nearly falls to the ground until Kuroi grabs it at the last second.

"Hey. Don't scare us like that," said Kuroi.

"Scare you? You're disrespecting our classmates by invading their privacy," said Rukia.

"You seemed to like it. Your nose is bleeding," said Ichigo.

"Never mind that. We have to go and take down a Hollow," said Rukia.

"But, it was getting good," said Kuroi.

Rukia grabs Kuroi and Ichigo by their shihakusho and drags them down the stairs of the building. She continues to drag them until they reach the alleyway where the Hollow is supposed to be, but there's no Hollow. Only a fat spirit.

"There's no one here," said Kuroi.

"That's odd. The order specifically said that it would be here," said Rukia.

"Maybe your phone is broken," said Ichigo.

"Or maybe there's someone else who's taking down the Hollows before we get to them," said Kuroi.

"That doesn't make sense. Soul reapers are assigned to certain districts. I don't believe that the Soul Society would send another soul reaper here to take down Hollows," said Rukia.

"Maybe that fat guy knows," said Kuroi.

Rukia walks up to the fat spirit.

"Was there a Hollow here?" asked Rukia.

"What's a Hollow?" asked the fat spirit.

"Did a monster attack you?" asked Rukia.

"Yes. I was sho shcared that I thought that I would die again," said the fat spirit.

"Who saved you? Who stopped the monster?" asked Rukia.

"I got shcared and closed my eyes, so I didn't see anything," said the fat spirit.

"So, you're useless to our investigation. Now, our investigation will be harder," said Kuroi.

The fat spirit pulls out a figurine from his pocket.

"I'm sho shorry! I don't know what's going on, but I'm sho shorry! Take my treasured "Magical Girl Megaron" as an apology!" exclaimed the fat spirit.

The fat spirit gives the figurine to Kuroi and Kuroi breaks it by squeezing it.

"Megaron!" exclaimed the fat spirit.

"I don't have space for toys. Prepare to go to the afterlife," said Kuroi.

Kuroi pulls out his Zanpakuto.

"Wait. Are you going to stab me with that shword!" said the fat spirit.

"Stop complaining and come here," said Kuroi.

The fat spirit tries to run, but Ichigo sticks his foot out, tripping him.

"The Soul Society is a cool place. Just stay close to the Rukongai District," said Rukia.

Kuroi taps his Zanpakuto on the fat spirit's head and a kanji appears on it. A purple portal appears under him and sucks him in.

"Whoever is killing these Hollows must be very skilled and maybe powerful," said Rukia.

"He or she can be a very good ally," said Ichigo.

Kuroi looks up at a rooftop and sees a shadowy figure standing on it.

"I don't know why, but something tells me that he doesn't want to be our ally," said Kuroi.

Thirteen hours pass. Kuroi now sits in his classroom, staring out of the window. He hopes that he can enjoy the warm weather before the rain comes in the evening.

"It's over and I'm dead!" exclaimed Keigo.

Kuroi stops daydreaming once he hears Keigo's scream.

"Relax. I didn't do any better," said Mizuiro.

"Midterms mean nothing. You have an entire semester to get better grades," said Kuroi.

"You don't have to work as hard. You're already passing," said Mizuiro.

"What do you mean?" asked Kuroi.

Mizuiro picks up a paper that lists the top scorers in the freshman class.

"You got number nine," said Mizuiro.

"Number nine! How did you get that high of a score! You spend more time watching hentai than doing homework!" exclaimed Keigo.

"I'm just smart," said Kuroi.

"I thought that you were a cool pervy guy like myself, but you're just a pervy nerd!" exclaimed Keigo.

"I'm not a nerd. I was just born better than you," said Kuroi.

"Ego much?" asked Mizuiro.

"If you just put an ounce of effort, you could make the top 50 like moi," said Kuroi.

"Well, you should know that we won't do that," said Mizuiro.

Rukia opens the door and runs over to Kuroi.

"Kuroi, can I see you?" asked Rukia.

"Well, I'm kind of doing-" said Kuroi.

Rukia grabs Kuroi and drags him out of the room.

"You need to learn how to talk to someone instead of grabbing them and dragging them across the floor. They're already suspicious of us because of the broadcast debacle," said Kuroi.

"Stop complaining. Ichigo is already en route," said Rukia.

"There's another Hollow?" asked Kuroi.

"I'm pretty sure," said Rukia.

"I swear if your phone is wrong, I will not be a happy soul reaper," said Kuroi.

"Whatever," said Rukia.

Fifteen minutes pass. Kuroi and Rukia run up to Ichigo, but don't see any Hollows.

"Did you take care of it?" asked Rukia.

"There was no Hollow once again! I'm getting sick of this crap!" exclaimed Ichigo.

"Are you saying that it's my fault! I'm just passing down the orders!" exclaimed Rukia.

"We shouldn't argue in front of a fellow Hollow hunter," said Kuroi.'

"Huh?" asked Rukia and Ichigo.

"Come on out, Uryu," said Kuroi.

Uryu walks out from the side street.

"I'm surprised that you could sense me. I was suppressing my spiritual pressure," said Uryu.

"I saw you on the rooftop last night. Plus, you always give us dirty looks every time you walk by us. Most students wouldn't notice this, but I'm pretty observant," said Kuroi.

"What are you?" asked Ichigo.

"You don't know what I am, but you're a soul reaper. I guess the Soul Society is allowing anybody to become a soul reaper these days," said Uryu.

"You've been killing Hollows, so why don't we kill Hollows together? We could be very efficient if we work together," said Kuroi.

"I refuse to work with soul reapers," said Uryu.

Uryu points down the street.

"If you want to know, there's a Hollow down there," said Uryu.

Once he says this, Rukia's phone buzzes.

"He's telling the truth. It's right down there," said Rukia.

"Don't worry. I can deal with it," said Uryu.

The bracelet on Uryu's wrist turns into a giant bow. He shoots an arrow and it rockets through the air towards the Hollow. It hits the Hollow in the head and kills it.

"He killed it from this far away," said Rukia surprisingly.

"The name's Uryu Ishida and I hate soul reapers," said Uryu.

"Why?" asked Kuroi.

"I don't need to tell you soul reapers anything. All you need to know is I hate the three of you," said Uryu.

"This is the first time we had a conversation and you already hate me. I should start being kinder. Maybe that will make you like me," said Kuroi.

Uryu doesn't respond and just walks away.

"How long has he been in our class?" asked Ichigo.

"Since the start of the year. How did you not know that?" said Kuroi.

"He just fits in," said Ichigo.

"It's not smart to have someone that hates you interfering with your work. How can we talk to him?" said Rukia.

"We obviously can't just walk up to him. He hates us," said Ichigo.

"I know where to find him," said Kuroi.

Six hours pass. Kuroi, Ichigo, and Rukia stand outside of the Handicraft Club classroom. Kuroi sticks his head into the classroom and watches Uryu.

"He's just sitting there and doing nothing," said Kuroi.

"Who would believe that a stern guy like him would be into knitting," said Ichigo.

"Shut up before he catches us," said Rukia.

"Look, he's leaving. Let's-," said Kuroi.

"Look. Mitsuru gave him a ripped doll," said Ichigo.

"What is he going to do?" asked Kuroi.

Uryu opens his sewing set and pulls out a needle and string. He quickly fixes the doll and adds a pair of shorts.

"It's fixed! Thank you, Uryu!" exclaimed Mitsuru.

"It was no big deal. There's no need for gratitude," said Uryu.

"He's good at sewing stuff," said Ichigo.

"I don't think that he will talk to all three of us. I'll follow him and we can have our private conversation," said Kuroi.

"Why do you believe that he will talk to you?" asked Rukia.

"I'm good with words," said Kuroi.
