Plan B

Thirty minutes have passed since Head Captain Yamamoto refused to allow Rukia to not get executed. After revealing that he has a Plan B, the group walks towards Aoi's home in the Soul Society. They reach the door and Aoi opens it, revealing an even larger house.

"This house has gotten bigger than the last time I was here," said Kuroi.

"I have a lot of free time," said Aoi.

The group moves through the house until they reach a dojo that's a similar size to the dojo in the living world. The group takes a seat in the center of the dojo.

"What is your Plan B?" asked Uryu.

"Well, it's simple but a little radical. Yamamoto won't allow Rukia to walk free, so we will have to rescue her ourselves," said Aoi.

"So, we're going to launch a jailbreak?" asked Kuroi.

"Precisely," said Aoi.

"How will we launch a jailbreak? The soul reaper captains seem strong," said Chad.

"Don't worry. We will have a little help," said Aoi.

The door behind the group slides open and they turn their heads. In the doorway are three men, all captains of the Gotei 13. One is a man with an eyepatch, bells in his hair, and multiple scars on his body. Another is a man with long hair, a little facial hair, and a pink flowered kimono. The last is a man with long white hair who is sickly.

"Meet Kenpachi Zaraki, Shunsui Kyoraku, and Jushiro Ukitake. These captains will help us in our mission to save Rukia," said Aoi.

"It's nice to meet you all. You guys seem strong," said Jushiro.

"They are stronger than you may think," said Aoi.

"Whoever is the strongest is going to be my punching bag," said Kenpachi.

"Hold on, big guy. You can't kill any of them in a sparring session yet. We need them," said Shunsui.

"Whatever," said Kenpachi.

"I have brought you all here tonight to discuss the plan that I came up with. Please sit and close the door. We don't want anyone else hearing about this," said Aoi.

Shunsui closes the door and the three captains sit down with the rest of the group.

"I've been working on this plan ever since Rukia was taken by Aizen a couple weeks ago. It's important to remember that this plan is still in its beta stage as humans say. Kenpachi, Ichigo, Uryu, and Chad will start a little riot to cause a huge distraction. This distraction will prevent more soul reapers from making it to Sokyoku Hill. Jushiro, Shunsui, and I will face Yamamoto. He is easily the strongest soul reaper to ever exist. That's why he is the head captain, but I believe that we can beat him. We were his students after all. Kuroi and Yoruichi will head to Sokyoku Hill and save Rukia. There will be captains there that are strong, so it will be a dangerous mission," said Aoi.

"What about me?" asked Orihime.

"You will be our healer. From what you have shown me in the past week, you are a skilled healer. It's too dangerous to have you on the front lines, so you will stay here until we need you," said Aoi.

"What if this plan fails? Do you have a backup?" asked Uryu.

"Yes, I do, but I don't know if they will want to return to the Soul Society after all of this time," said Aoi.

"Who are they?" asked Uryu.

"Friends that I made after I was forced to leave a hundred years ago," said Aoi.

"Are they strong?" asked Uryu.

"Yeah. They are pretty tough to beat," said Aoi.

"The plan sounds good. We won't be able to fail if everything goes to plan," said Kuroi.

"Great optimism, son, but that doesn't mean that we don't have to train. Aizen is still alive and well. As long as he lives, he will scheme and scheme. We can't slack off and allow him to win," said Aoi.

"Do you mean that we all have to train?" asked Shunsui.

"You're right. I knew you were always smarter than you looked," said Aoi.

"When does this training start?" asked Jushiro.

"Bright and early tomorrow morning. We can't waste time," said Aoi.

Kuroi and Ichigo stand up.

"If training starts tomorrow, can we please be excused? We have something to do,' said Kuroi.

"What do you two have to do?" asked Aoi.

"See a friend. We won't be gone for long," said Ichigo.

"Fine. Go ahead," said Aoi.

Ichigo and Kuroi flash step out of the large house and head in the direction of the Repent Tower. They reach the Repent Tower in a couple minutes. They try to head in, but they're stopped by guards.

"Stop right there! Who are you?" said one of the guards.

"We have come to see the prisoner Rukia Kuchiki," said Kuroi.

"Do you have permission to see the prisoner? You do know that this is the tower where prisoners that are set to be executed are held," said one of the guards.

"We have permission from Captain Hono of the seventh division," said Kuroi.

"Where's the paperwork?" asked one of the guards.

"Paperwork? I thought that we could just go in and see her," said Kuroi.

"Ms. Kuchiki isn't just a regular prisoner. If you don't have the correct paperwork, you can't see her," said one of the guards.

"That's too bad. It's not like we can just beat you all with our pinkies and climb up the tower to see Rukia," said Ichigo.

"What are you-," said one of the guards.

Before the talkative guard can continue to talk, he receives a punch to the face gifted by Kuroi. Ichigo and Kuroi easily deal with the rest of the guards. Kuroi looks up at the tower.

"She should be up there. Let's go," said Kuroi.

"We're just going to climb this thing. It's huge," said Ichigo.

"We're not going to climb it. Just give me a hand," said Kuroi.

Ichigo places both of his hands under Kuroi's foot. He brings his hands up and flips Kuroi into the sky. Kuroi grabs the bars of a prison cell and looks inside of it. He sees a small woman sitting in darkness.

"Rukia," said Kuroi.

The small woman turns around when she hears her name called.

"Kuroi?" asked Rukia.

"Yeah, It's me. Ichigo and I came to see you," said Kuroi.

"How did you guys get here?" asked Rukia.

"We had to knock a little bit of sense into some of the guards. We didn't leave them with too many injuries," said Kuroi.

"If you're here, you have to be planning something," said Rukia.

"You're a smart woman. We're going to save you from this terrible fate," said Kuroi.

"How?" asked Rukia.

"We have powerful allies that have come together to save you. It won't be long until you'll be free again," said Kuroi.

"When will this rescue operation occur?" asked Rukia.

"In two weeks. The day that you will be executed is the day that you will be saved," said Kuroi.

"Thank you," said Rukia.

"Don't thank me. Ichigo is the one who was begging for us to come to rescue you," said Kuroi.

"He was?" asked Rukia.

"Yeah. I think that you may be his best friend," said Kuroi.

"That's good to hear," said Rukia.

"Have your powers returned to you?" asked Kuroi.

"Not yet, but I can feel that I'm getting stronger," said Rukia.

"Has Byakuya come to see you?" said Kuroi.

"No. I believe that my brother is ashamed of me," said Rukia.

"He has always sided with the Soul Society for everything, so it's not surprising that he doesn't care if you get executed," said Kuroi.

"They're waking up! Let's go!" exclaimed Ichigo.

"I have to go. See you later," said Kuroi.

"Wait!" exclaimed Rukia.

"What is it?" asked Kuroi.

"Renji brought me here a few minutes ago. He seems like he can be persuaded to join your team," said Rukia.

"Thanks for the info. We will go talk to him right away," said Kuroi.

Kuroi releases his hands from the bars and drops to the ground.

"Renji shouldn't be far away from here. I'm tasking you to go and find him. We can persuade him to join our side," said Kuroi.

"Where would he be?" asked Ichigo.

"Near the squad six barracks," said Kuroi.

"Where are you going?" asked Ichigo.

"I'm going to go talk to Byakuya," said Kuroi.

"Why?" asked Ichigo.

"I'm going to give him a piece of my mind," said Kuroi.

Kuroi flash steps away from the Repent Tower to the direction of the Kuchiki Manor Compound. Once he reaches the compound, he jumps over the gate and flash steps towards the main house. He opens the door and sees Byakuya sitting in front of a picture of his late wife.

"Why are you here, Kuroi?" asked Byakuya.

"You know why I'm here. You should be the first person who is against the execution of your sister," said Kuroi.

"I side with justice," said Kuroi.

"Justice? This isn't justice. Your sister is going to be executed over breaking a petty rule," said Kuroi.

"The rule is not petty. It's a sacred rule that every soul reaper has to follow," said Byakuya.

"Sacred my ass. She broke the rule to save an innocent boy and his family. The job of a soul reaper is to prevent Hollows from feasting on the souls of innocent people. Rukia completed her job perfectly. She had to break the rule to do her job. She doesn't deserve to be executed," said Kuroi.

"It's not my call. I just follow orders given to me by the head captain. I have pledged loyalty to the Soul Society," said Byakuya.

"So, you would rather listen to some stubborn old man than your own family. That's kind of pathetic. What is more dishonorable allowing your sister to be executed or not following a stupid order? What would Hisana say if she saw you do this? Didn't she ask you to protect her sister?" said Kuroi.

Byakuya turns his head.

"Don't bring her into this," said Byakuya.

"You know what I'm saying is true, so just admit it," said Kuroi.

"Get out of my house," said Byakuya.

"Fine, but remember what I said. You may be stubborn, but you're smart. That's what I like about you," said Kuroi.

Kuroi opens the door and flash steps out of the compound. Byakuya takes a long look at Hisana's picture.

"I'm sorry, my love, but I have a job to do," said Byakuya.

On the other side of the Soul Society, Renji walks through the Squad Six Barracks. He continues to walk until he hears a familiar voice from behind a corner.

"Renji, how have you been?" asked Ichigo.

Renji stops walking and turns around to see Ichigo hiding behind the corner of the wall.

"Ichigo?" asked Renji.

"I'm not surprised that you remember me. I kicked your ass a couple weeks ago," said Ichigo.

"You don't have to brag," said Renji.

"You bragged about being a veteran, but you got your ass kicked by a rookie," said Ichigo.

"Shut up," said Renji.

"Look, I came here to talk to you about something important," said Ichigo.

"What do you want to talk about?" asked Renji.

"Rukia is going to be executed in 14 days. Rukia told me that you are a good guy. Were you guys friends?" said Ichigo.

"We have been friends since childhood. When she was adopted by Captain Kuchiki, we stopped talking," said Renji.

"Do you believe that she should be executed?" asked Ichigo.

"No, but she broke the rules, so I can't do much," said Renji.

"Renji, she's your friend. Even though you guys were separated for a long time, the friendship is still there. Can you call yourself her friend if you just sit back and allow her to be murdered for something so stupid?" said Ichigo.

"You're right, but-," said Renji.

Ichigo places his hand on Renji's shoulder.

"If you want to save her, join us. You can train with us and become strong enough to save her. Prove to her that you're the good guy that she claims you are," said Ichigo.

"Why do you want me to join you?" asked Renji.

"We need everyone that we can get to save Rukia and take down Aizen," said Ichigo.

"`Take down Aizen? Why do you guys want to take down Captain Aizen?" asked Renji.

"I'll explain everything to you later. Just come by Captain Hono's residence tonight," said Ichigo.

"Ok," said Renji.

Ichigo and Renji walk away from each other. Unbeknownst to them, a common enemy was listening to their conversation from a crack in the door.

"It looks like Ichigo Kurosaki is creating a rebellion. It seems that I will have to rush my plans a little bit," said Aizen.
