I'm rich!

As I closed my eyes, I closed them tightly for a quick second, before opening them again.

Because I held my eyelids very close to each other, I was able to see tiny translucent balls of light in front of me, which many people usually saw if they did the same. It was something strange to do for sure, however, for me, because of my luck, those barely flashing lights could become something very useful with my decent luck.

By looking at the set of rocks, the hindering light trails were pointing exactly at the rocks that I should pick. How am I sure of it? Well… Whenever I envision something random that I need in front of me to happen or to be, with my eyes closed or unfocused of course, I am able to get what I envisioned correctly, most of the time. Such an ability always made me wonder if I have the ability to warp reality, foretell the future, or if I'm just lucky.

I doubt that I can warp reality, because I can't really make things with a will do something. It's more of a, I can change a number in a random number generator. One example is that I can't get a lady to talk to me randomly when I deeply hope for it to happen and even fantasize about it, however, I can definitely tell if a car is going to break down, or what the correct answer of an ABCD question is. Foretelling what an answer to a question is made me wonder if I had foresight as well, which I highly doubt I have, because like I mentioned before, I can't tell the future of others. So that left me to one conclusion. The ability to see the chances of something happening or being correct, and making that true, which means that my ability must have something to do with luck, but not completely.

It's complicated.

You see… Luck doesn't follow me around, and I don't just randomly win a lottery. As I said before, I can see a chance of something happening, which means that I can see the chances of me picking the right lottery in front of me, and letting that actually be the right lottery. A valuable lottery or not, I can only pick the one with the highest chance to win, which means that the lottery that I pick might actually still not be the one to let me win.

But here's why random number generators like gacha games work perfectly for me. First off, it's a random number generator, which means that there is an infinite amount of possibilities right in front of me. The chances or not affected by someone like a person moving a spinning wheel for example, which means that I can get exactly what I want out of a gacha game.

Ha! I even got banned by the game that I abused my hidden talents at. But anyway, yeah… It should be more of a luck thing. As long as a chance of something happening isn't controlled by a conscious and intelligent being that has their own will, but simply a design of a random generating system, I can effect its laws. There is a limit of how close I am to that random generating system for my foresight and reality warping to work though… Chance foresight, and chance warping, hehe.

Very complicated, I know…

Anyway, here I am, inside the living room, where I can open up the rocks without dirtying any cloth like bedsheets and napkins. With one PP crystal worth a hundred coin, I bought fourteen high grade rocks and thirty low grade. It is time to crack them open like scratching a lottery ticket.

Surely, it reminds me quite of the good old days when I won a third place lottery, which I used for buying myself a high-end PC. Two thousand dollars… Quite the price, I'd say. At that time I was still at college, which means that I was able to buy a PC without going into even more debt. The student debt was a problem I quickly took care off by buying more lotteries and going to casinos. However, all that ability of mine, I only used for paying the student debt that my parents didn't want to take care of.

After that, I figured that It's best to live life fair and peacefully, since it felt awfully boring achieving my goals in a dishonest way, and a way without a challenge. But look at where that brought me. A necklace that made me live an even more dishonest live than before, hehe. Luckily, both of those abilities aren't too suspicious, and neither was I. I definitely did not want the government tracking me down, after all.

"Ha~ Would you look at that…" I muttered, proud of myself after cracking every rock that I bought.

Every rock that I picked up and bought had a PP crystal inside them, and although some of them were almost dim in comparison to the others, it was still better than nothing. White crystals, which I find kind of gross because they are basically animal seeds, they lay everywhere around me, along with the bunch of dirt from the covering of the crystals.

But why should I care about that, when I have around twenty low grade PP crystal of good quality, and ten high grade of good quality. All for the cost of one low grade PP crystal of good quality. I don't know if good quality is the correct way to call the brighter ones, by the way… I just call it like that, because I believe that the dim ones can't be used as a currency. They are therefore the bad quality of PP crystals.

But whatever. All I need to keep in mind, is that I struck rich! Woohoo! Isn't this like trading crypto or something? Ha!

'One for many, and many for me!' I declared joyfully inside my mind, as I threw the crystals above me to let them rain on me.

"Ouch ouch ouch… Damn, that hurts." I patted my head to ease the pain.

Yeah… I shouldn't have done that.
