Chapter 45: Duel Club (1)

After William was taken out of the classroom and subsequently taken to the infirmary, class ended abruptly, surprising all the students present, both in the unusual manufacture of the peace filter and in the reaction of the teacher, but no one dared to ask questions and simply left the classroom.

Professor Eliana held the peace filter in her hands and walked out of the classroom making sure to leave everything closed.

"Is this the rumored peace filter that was manufactured in your class teacher Eliana?" the director Ana walked into her office where she was already being waited by some of the teachers, in front of her on her desk was the small glass vial, she lifted the vial and looked at it carefully "it is certainly a much more concentrated version than normal".

"it is not only its concentration headmistress, the method for making this potion is not the same as the ones described in the books"

"A different formula that is taught at Hogwarts?" asked the headmistress.

"the peace filter is taught to fifth year students, William on the other hand is only a first year student and even if he looked up the information in the books he couldn't find a different method than the traditional ones" a dark complexioned professor mentioned the information

"His family?"

"I understand he comes from the Rosier family, a family of a long, famous, noble and dark lineage, I recognize that they must possess a vast fortune in knowledge of all kinds but not with this kind of information, a peace filter must not be relevant enough for them to hide it from the world without gaining profit from them" the same professor from before was the one who dictated the information without showing joy on his face.

"So does this mean that the boy can not only brew potions better than the seniors but also managed to make a new formula on his first try while in class?"

At the Headmistress' question all the teachers present nodded slightly, delivered a few comments as Professor Eliana narrated the story.

"headmaster dumbledore would never send a normal Hogwarts student that's for sure, besides this was an award he earned on his own merit for services to the school" the headmistress leaned on her hands "we can't turn a blind eye to the situation, if this boy is that capable I want special classes assigned to him to attend especially potions, we may find a new potion. No one else besides those present can know the information, especially manuela."

"but isn't she his guardian?" asked Professor Eliana.

"it's exactly for that reason that she can't know, a possible potions genius and a girl with her special condition, she should know what will happen" the dark complexioned professor interrupted

"but-"

"there are no objections professor Eliana. Manuela is an excellent student, I don't want her reputation to be tarnished by fleeting hopes, she has made more effort than any other student in the past to get to this point, do you understand?" at the headmistress' words, teacher Eliana simply nodded resignedly, there was nothing she could do and she herself understood the headmistress' point.

Outside the headmistress' office in the dining room William was moving towards an empty table to eat when he was interrupted by an unfamiliar voice.

"You're the Hogwarts student?"

William turned to see the identity of the person, in front of him stood a young man with tanned skin; large, deep-set, dark eyes; thin, elongated downward ears; dark but long hair. William was quick to recognize the person, Anana Miru the captain of the dueling club.

"Yes" William replied in a neutral voice as he took a seat at the table preparing to devour his meal.

Anana followed William and sat across from him "is Hogwarts as special as the rumors say?" the voice full of illusion from Anana made William raise his head to look at him.

"It depends on the type of rumors, but yes. If you mean that every year there is some kind of danger to the students then you are correct."

"What?"

"you didn't mean those kinds of rumors?"

"no, of course not. I wanted to know about Hogwarts duelists."

"Ah... well I think Professor Flitwick and Professor Severus are good duelists, of course everyone knows there's also Headmaster Albus Dumbledore-"

"I want to know about the students, there are supposed to be many students from old families then they should inherit the knowledge, wisdom and character of their families. I know it sounds a bit arrogant of me but I am the strongest student in Castelobruxo, of course I can still improve, I have to finish receiving the knowledge of my clan."

"Hogwarts students also have a handle on dueling but there is no one very mind blowing, if I had to name someone then it would be Cedric Digory, he is a few years older than me."

"I'm Anana Miru, what's your name?"

William saw the boy's outstretched hand and couldn't help but smile, at Hogwarts this would never happen, besides the girls he talks to there is no one else he wants to associate with, but of course it's still too early to judge.

"I'm William, William Rosier."

"So it was true, the student who was able to stand up to Voldemort" Anana squeezed William's hand tightly, for the albino on the other hand it was a surprise that the boy could say Voldemort's name so calmly, usually that doesn't happen.

"How?"

"my father is also a powerful wizard, he can't leave the island but he still collects information and what happened at Hogwarts is not a secret at all, some people think it's a lie and just a story to gain attention but my father says it's possible then I believe the same" Anana was a very different boy than what William had in his mind, this boy was too honest and didn't show any prejudice even knowing his last name.

"William."

"hmmm?"

"I want to have a duel against you"
