Chapter 61: The power of the dueling club

"Hahahaha...!" Greyback let out several guffaws "You think some kids who barely even know how to ride a broom can defeat me, Fenrir Greyback the terror of many aurors!"

"Just like we practiced before, all together at the same time" Anana had her wand extended just like all the members of the dueling club "Flipendo!"

From the wands came the hexes with great speed, all cast at the same time towards the same target.

Sensing the danger approaching Greyback took a step back and then began to run, he spun in the air, stepped between the spells, barely avoiding them but then thrust himself forward in a manner as wild as his appearance.

"Greyback is coming very fast, I need defenses first group."

Five juniors stepped forward and cast the incantation "Protego" an invisible barrier came into existence to stop Greyback's advance.

The other group continued to cast hexes to push Greyback back though so far to no avail.

"Do you think a barrier will be able to stop me, you idiots" Greyback moved with speed and then used his fist to punch the barrier and smash it to pieces immediately "hello..."

"Flipendo Maxima!" from William's wand it extended to the front leaving a trail of white colored light that impacted directly into Greyback's face sending him far backwards "Straight from the Hogwarts library!"

"Tie him up!" from each of their wands came a whip that lashed Greyback from different points on his body.

"That didn't work before do you think it will work?" Greyback sneered.

"This time it's not just one of us, this time it's the whole dueling club" Anana mentioned with full confidence.

"But you're forgetting one thing, I'm not alone remember?"

Ananá felt the sweat on his back cool down and then he remembered what they were running away from in the beginning, he looked to the other side and there he was, the figure he didn't want to see.

"Manuela..." he murmured a little sadly.

William pointed his wand at the wolf woman "Did you say Manuela?"

"Shit!" exclaimed Anana in annoyance.

"You have to tell her" Nahuen looked at his companion "she has the right to know and you have the obligation to fight, I will hold Greyback"

Anana looked at William who was puzzled looking at the new opponent "Will, she is... she is Manuela, your guardian, she is a werewolf and she is a bit wilder than others of her kind, unfortunately today is her special day in the month"

"And the wolfsbane potion?"

"She is an exception to the rule, her physiology and blood heritage affect the lycanthropy disease, make her immune to the potion, she is also more fierce, wild and stronger than other lycanthropes. I will stand up to her."

"I will help you" interrupted William but Anana extended her arm towards him to stop him.

"She is my responsibility" he said confident but seeing William's expression he could only smile "she and I have known each other since first year, we were never the best of friends I guess you can understand that, but she and I trusted each other, now that she is in front of us with the ability to harm our mates then I must stop her even if it means one of us dies..." there was a moment of silence between them both

"William I think I must say this before the battle" he stared for a moment at his wand "magic and wands are dangerous objects that can be used to harm people or the world, but we are not that kind of wizards, I use my wand to save the people I love and care about, so what do you use your magic for Will?"

"My magic..." muttered William without issuing an answer then when he looked at Anana again she was gone.

"Huripari!" then the wind picked up like a tornado and headed straight for Manuela who held it with her bare hands demonstrating her superior power.

Anana ran to the side, levitated the stones from the ground and threw them consecutively while forcing a lightning bolt to fall on Manuela, but even that was able to withstand the wolf woman.

"Come on stay still, that will be faster if you just fall asleep like normal" complained Anana moving a bit away from her to avoid being hurt or bitten in the worst case scenario, she raised her wand again this time she created several restraints but all were shattered without any difficulty "well, I have no more ideas, these are the best non-lethal spells in my repertoire".

When William reached the other battlefield things had gotten out of control, Nahuen was trying to restrain Greyback along with two girls from the dueling club, the rest of the members were on the ground unconscious.
