An instant after Elliot laid his eyes on the statue, its eye flared up in an eerie glow, and almost simultaneously, its mouth opened wide, releasing a roar so strong that he could feel violent vibrations in the floor beneath his feet and a disastrous ringing in his ears.

The sound was damaging to hear, not only for his ears but his body and internal organs too.

The roar continued to come out of its mouth in the form of barely discernable sound waves that attacked Elliot, and he didn't doubt that he will lose his health one point at a time until he dies if he doesn't do anything soon to block the sound waves!
