Between two storms

The days before Melissa's birthday were to long for her taste. Between countless daily meetings she started to get more involved with her company. Her grandfather was overseas for business trips, and she took advantage of this showing up daily and leaving late from her office. Thania prove to be very helpful showing her around and explaining to her about the clients, meetings and what she needed to know before each meeting.


It amazed Melissa how much Flavio knew about the company, it seemed to her that it was Flavio and no Rembrandt who was running it. Everyone knew him, he will attend meetings with Rembrandt and run errands getting more and more involve with the ins and outs of the operations and she was deeply grateful for this.


Finally, Melissa's birthday arrived. A sunbeam shone through Melissa's closed eyelids waking her up. "Mphhh…" she groaned; the day was finally here but the last thing she wanted was get out from her comfy bed.
