Chapter 53

Emerging from the thickness of the night there were a pack of more than 20 wolves. Their furs camouflaged perfectly with the trees, branches, and the foliage of the forest darkened by the night curtain. It was a warm night; the putrid scent of death was surrounding them. The moon was going to be the one and only witness of whatever was about to take place.

In Melissa's eyes there was a problem, the full moon was up, showing its gleam and glow bathing them all. It was the perfect night for the werewolves, but Adel and Anastasia were in disadvantage. It was well known that werewolves were at his best performance when the moon was full and high in the sky.
