It has been almost a day since everyone had left the mansion, the doctor had agreed to take care of the man, but he needed to go to his office to do some paperwork. He was getting paid handsomely in here, that, plus being able to stay next to Melissa had helped him make his mind and stay at the mansion.
His conversation with Rembrandt left the doctor thinking. He knew now how much the old man hated his granddaughter. For something that it wasn't her fault. He had learned that the man never forgave her daughter to fall in love with someone that in Rembrandt's eyes was a low-class man.
Even though he was low class, for what Rembrandt had told him, Melissa's parents had made their fortune with hard work and time, everything they did was for their daughter to keep, to have a future. A fortune, and business well connected that were earned with sweat and sacrifices, so their daughter could take over one day.
