Between two storms

The doorbell rang and Anastasia went to opened, she was talking to someone, and everyone knew who it was. the young man entered the living room as he could feel the atmosphere tense, he greeted the human and the vampire and went running towards Melissa to hug her.

She was taken aback by his demeanor but as always, Shawn will occupy a special place in Melissa's heart. "How are you, Shawn?" she asked.

"I'm ok, what happened? Where is Blaze?" the young wolf asked.

"Come with me," she led him towards the room where the Alpha was laying down.

Shawn had changed once more, his features more of a man and a Beta and less of those of like a young wolf. The kid that she met only few months ago was no more. Melissa was reminiscence about how everything and everyone had changed in just a few months, and the young wolf was no exception.
