Chapter 24: Dance of the Moon Goddess.

In the backyard, the cooling wind blew as rays of golden sunlight shone on both of them.

For a moment, Mu Suyin looked at little Myah seriously.

Then, a slight smile slowly bloomed on her pale face as they perform a pinky promise.

She doesn't mind such a simple gesture; after all, a promise is a promise, and Myah was still young. Looking at his naive face, she only hopes that he would understand its importance in the near future.

'Now was a good time.' Mu Suyin thought in her mind.

After deliberating for some time, she started searching for some exercise methods to train his body in her memories.

Although Mu Suyin wants to teach him how to use the spear, he was not ready yet with a weak six-year-old body that has yet to undergo any training.

'Spear training has to wait, not until he becomes a One-star Warrior.'

A few days ago, Myah already showed her his green-colored Soul Origin Crystal, and although a C-grade talent was a little lacking, it was fine.

This world is vast and is full of fascinating opportunities.

There are a few ways to increase the grade of one's Soul Origin Crystal in her knowledge. However, it requires many rarely seen treasures and is not something she can gather, not her current state.

'It was too bad that I had lost my storage tool. Otherwise, everything would have been much easier.' Mu Suyin shakes her head and lamented internally.

Luckily, the RanK 3 Alpha Dire Wolf's severed arm got teleported with them when Mu Suyin used the Rank 6 . to escape.

With it, she was able to exchange for a decent amount of low-grade Spirit Stones, which would be more than enough for Myah to cultivate for a long time.

"Grandma, grandma, can you teach me now? I wanted to train immediately." Holding Mu Suyin's hand, Myah's childish face was looking somewhat restless.

He wanted to start training now so he could become stronger quickly. In his mind, the sooner he starts, the faster he will become stronger.

Shaking her head, Mu Suiyin switched to her serious mode and spoke in a strict voice.

"It takes time to become stronger."

"Myah, you have to be patient in the road of cultivation and can not rush for immediate success. Otherwise, your future growth will be hindered by many obstructions, which will also lessen the chance for you to find your mother."

"Do you understand?"

"I...Okay..." Puffing his cheek, Myah makes a sad face and nodded reluctantly.

After considering that Myah was blind and unable to see, a forward demonstration was not an option; Mu Suyin told him to be obedient and stay still.

Then, along with her careful guidance.

She slowly adjusts Myah's body posture to perform various movements and their corresponding breathing rhymes.

It was the same exercise method that she had practiced when she was younger.

As a former Master Spearman, Mu Suyin was originated from the Astral Moon Palace, an influential and renowned sect from the inner region that only accepts women as its disciples.

What Mu Suyin has taught Myah was an exercises method consisting of 18 different postures named the Dance of the Moon Goddess.

It was something from the Astral Moon Palace that Mu Suyin had learned when she was young.

In the Astral Moon Palace's old record,

A legend stated that this exercise method was an imitation that their sect's founder had put together after luckily witnessing the last dance which the Moon Goddess herself performed for her lover in ancient times.

Of course, the Dance of the Moon Goddess was made especially tailored for women to practice.

It focuses more on the agility aspect, enhances a women's body figure, and fills up the right places, preventing them from building up muscle so as not to look all bulky like men.

Nonetheless, Dance of the Moon Goddess was undeniably the best exercise method that Mu Suyin had. It would perfectly complement and build the foundation for Myah to practice her self-created spear technique.

Moreover, looking at Myah's delicate body and cute features, she couldn't even imagine training him into a beefy, muscular man in the future.

...

After roughly 20 minutes, they finished going through the 18 postures of the Dance of the Moon Goddess.

"Myah, grandma has guided you through all the moves once. How do you feel?" Mu Suyin asked, wiping away a few drops of sweat on Myah's face.

"I'm fine," Myah replied, his body quivering slightly.

Although it was just a warm-up, he could still feel the tingling sensation linger in his arms and legs. Having never practiced before in his life, it was a little uncomfortable.

"Then do you remember all the exercise postures and practice by yourself?"

"I... There's so many, and I don't remember all of them." Myah said meekly.

"Well, it's normal that you don't remember them. Back then, it took grandma a few days to remember all of the moves, so there is no hurry." Mu Suyin said softly, then steadily guides and assists little Myah in performing through the postures again.

"We will practice what you can for today." (Mu Suyin)

"Remember, don't forget to sync the breathing rhyme I teach you with each move. Just moving your body alone is not enough." (Mu Suyin)

"If your breathing rhyme and body movements don't match, the exercise won't yield a desirable effect, understand?" (Mu Suyin)

"Yes, grandma," Myah nodded his head and replied while repeating her words in his mind so he wouldn't forget them when he practices alone.

Training the body will take time and is extremely slow, so there was no rush. As it's the first day, Mu Suyin only wanted Myah to get familiar with the process of training, nothing more.

As they continue, Myah found it hard to balance his body, especially when he needs to lift one foot off the ground to perform a few particular postures.

For Myah, he found it extremely hard to get used to the feeling of losing his sight. It was something that couldn't be solved in the short term.

But fortunately, Mu Suyin was there to catch him when he fell.

Perhaps, if only Mu Suyin was stricter and left Myah to fall to the ground and get up by himself, it could potentially speed up the training progress, and he could adapt to the change much quicker.

However, in the end, she felt that it was not necessary and crossed that thought away.

'There was no need to rush the training, and things shouldn't be too forced.'

As time passed quickly, Myah finished performing the Dance of the Moon Goddess for the third cycle. He sat his butt to the ground and was gasping for breath, sweating profusely.

Laying on the earth, the little guy felt like he couldn't move anymore—a wave of weakness washed through his small and fragile body.

Although the time supposes for each move was cut short considerably, the pain is still excruciating.

It was as if there was a fire searing his tendon and muscle tissues.

Myah has never thought that training would be so painful. However, despite the pain he was feeling, the little guy didn't complain once.

He was determined to get stronger.

Comparing this meager sensation to when his eyes were being taken away, it was nothing.
