I awoke in the medical bay of the BlackDawn I looked around to see Captain Teva, Eighty-Eight, and Vibration around me. "Where's the others?" I tried to get up when the medical droid stopped me. "Please do not move you are still groggy and are in a vulnerable state that is not ideal for such a rush of movement. "I sent the rest down to Drelliad Village they've established a comms point just at the village center and are being aided by Ord Mantell's resistance Commander there. Goes by the name BlackDeath. Unfortunately, we lost Gunsar during the attack he gave his life for us to escape." I looked at the ground and gripped my lightsaber hilt. "Where's my LightWhip?" "Gunsar took it in order to aid our escape we've only managed to recover the Kyber Crystal from the wreckage."
Eighty-Eight walked up to me and handed me the orange kyber crystal. "In accordance of Republic Military protocol I CT-88 AKA Eighty-Eight hereby resign from command of Silver Anvil Company and I request to be court martialed on Courscant and I relief command to my Second-in-Command CT- 3267 aka Vibration." Eighty-Eight took off his helmet and handed Captain Teva his blaster pistols as he gave the droid next her this armor as Vibration walked up to him and put him in cuffs. "As general of this Company I hereby rescend this order under Section 8: Clause B paragraph 4. You showed exemplary judge of the situation back there, you have real promise. You deemed me worthy of not being fit for duty despite my protest. You're exactly who I need by my side during this fight calling me out for all bullshit and keeping the Company together. You haven't earned just my respect but the respect of all in Silver Anvil Company."
"He's right you know. Not many would make the hard choice you did and still come out on top you beat the statical odds and not to mention most of our statics would lose way more clones in their first battle but thanks to you and Zarik you lowered you're first mission death rate to only one. I'm proud of the work you accomplished here Commander Eighty-Eight." Captain Teva interjected. "But General Zarik sir I..." I smiled at him and held my hand up. "No more I have stated my appeal. Now let me rest. You, Vibration, and Captain Teva will take over the operation until I'm fully recovered."
"Understood General Zarik, sir." "Now if you'll follow me Commander we've got word from the Drelliad village and need to assess the situation from the war table." Captain Teva asked. "Yes ma'am!" As Vibration and Captain Teva walked out of the med bay Eighty-Eight stayed behind. I could sense his inner turmoil. "Eighty-Eight come sit down next to me real quick and tell me what's wrong." I used the force to bring the chair to my bedside. Eighty-Eight sat down next to me as he clapped his hands together. "Still shaken by Gunsars' death?" "That and there's something I've wanted to discuss with you." "What is it?" "Well I don't know if the others have but I've been having these nightmares of us turning on the Jedi and I could hear this evil cackling in the back of my head it's this strange itch within that no matter what I do the nightmare is still looming, haunting me and it frightens me that if that nightmare comes true I'd never be able to call myself a soldier anymore. I'd be a puppet for this twisted person."
"So it seems what I sensed was a warning to the future that is to come." "Sir?" "I didn't want to tell you not without proof but I had these feelings of darkness emanating from you all mainly from your heads your hearts are as pure as the elemental force." "So what should we do sir?" "Keep this between us two for now but I'm going to need you to pick 2 of your best men and send them to Kamino I want proof of what we might need to know in the future. Have them there for no more than 5 rotations updates every 10 minutes unless proven problematic every 2 hours." "Understood I'll go pick my men I'll assign them to try out for Arc-Troopers." "Very good. Eighty-Eight."
