Empire Club

Zhao then heard the bell that communicated the end of classes.On reaching out for her wrist watch, it was telling that it was really 4pm.She then decided to head for her locker.On top of her bag was a small note telling her to keep the coat well and below it was #Monster.She then smiled, and put her pass around her shoulders ready to go home.At the school gate was Mr. Lou Yen who was her father's driver and bodyguard for over ten years.Well at this point, he was more of an uncle to her.

'Your father instructed you to dress up and end out to meet him on an official event.'

he said as he drove towards home.

'For details, wait till you meet him.'he added.

Though Zhao was tired after the day's event, she had no say when it came to such events.Upon reaching one of the malls, they quick got out of the car and Lou told her the dress code was black with a mask.

'Is it a Halloween party?'she inquired.

'It should be more of a Halloween business party.'he replied.

She quickly got dressed with Yen paying for whatever she had bought and headed for the car.

'You look more beautiful than ever when wearing black.Your dad will love it.'Yen complimented.

'Thanks uncle.'

He quickly drove off until they reached a building named The Empire State.It is one of the tallest buildings in Xien City and has whatever anyone would want to buy or access.But of course that would cost not just your wallet but your bank account.

'Wow! Uncle Yen.Is it where Dad wants me to meet him?'she inquired with a smile.

Mr.Yen just nodded as he held her hand and led the way.Although Zhao never liked proceeding to business parties with his father, Empire building was a one life time chance unless you were a child of a minister or the big three families of Xien.Upon reaching the reception,they were given two black cards display B²SM in golden and silvery edges.They headed for the elevator and soon went to the twelfth floor where Mr.Zhao had been waiting for them.

'Sorry to keep you waiting.'Mr.Yen apologised with a bow.

'It's okay, you're right on time.'Mr. Zhao replied.

They now headed for the party room with their masks on.In side the room were different business men and women who had come with their sons and daughters.Actually business men always moved with their heirs and successors in business connecting them to different people.They talked to each other despite having masks on.They all seemed to waiting for a specific person who was the host of this big party.Mr.Zhoa continued to interact with different people until a wine glass was rung calling for everyone attention.The masters of events announced the arrival of Mrs.Clowie Butter.The Butter family the second most respected family in Xien after the Arrow family.The Arrow family was highly respected due to its big influence the country's politics and army.The Butter family was highly respected due to its great wisdom and capabilities in business.And below the two was the Royal family that has its respect from ancient times.

A woman in white began descending the stairs and along side her was a boy at same age with Zhao if not a little older.She then rised the wine glass in her left hand and silence went throughout the room.

'Thank you all for attending this wonderful occasion.We are rivals in some parts of business but once again the Empire club brings together once again.Today, we come together to welcome our new partner and brother,Mr.Zhao.Mr.Zhao please come and bless this occasion.'

'Thank you!Thank you! I'm very happy to have become part of the Empire club.It's really a great hour to be part of your.Thank you Mrs.Butter for this great opportunity and thank you all.'

'Let's make a toss for Mr.Zhoa.'

They all tossed and she gave a gesture for the party to continue.She then moved down and interaction between Mrs.Butter and Zhao continued.She introduced her son Adams Butter and asked him to take Zhao around the place.

Adams took Zhao to the balcony from where she could have a beautiful view.He removed his mask and so did Zhao.They talked about different things and the conversation seemed interesting.From a distance,she spotted someone familiar near the pool.She then noticed binoculars aside her that she used.On taking a look,she identified the person to be Pete.She immediately dashed to elevator and Adams followed but upon reaching, he wasn't there.

' I guess it was just my illusion.'

' Whom were you looking for?'

' Well,I thought it was a friend of mine but I guess it was just my illusion.'

' I can maybe help you find him or her.'

' No thanks,anyways let's go back.'

She then noticed a wrist band aside that looked feminine.'Did he split up with his girlfriend or...? I'll ask him tomorrow anyways.

They then headed back to the party where they found their parents waiting for them.They said farewell and headed back home.

'She's good.'he replied with a smile.

'Have you made a choice between the two schools?'

' I'll go to XiaoRong.'

' Okay my son.Take things slow.'

' How was the party?' Mr.Zhao inquired.

' Not bad.'

' Did you take a fancy in Adams?'

' He's not bad but...'

' Seems you already got someone.'

' Come one dad.'

She quickly reached her room and took off the dress and headed towards the bathroom to take a shower.After dressing up, she noticed the school uniform coat.She held the coat in her hands and a smile appeared on her face as memories of the day flashed through her mind.
