Chap 37. Hiring Mentors

"Did you learn anything though?" Astro questioned, to which Theo nodded extremely fast, "Yessss!" Theo voiced.

Astro only helplessly laughed.

Theo kept thinking about every single action or movement Astro did; the back kick, the side pinch.. everything!

His need for movement and action grew with each thought, he desperately wanted to go to an arena and start training right away!

"I can sense your excitement.." Astro commented as he turned towards Theo, Theo who was lost in thought as he imagined the twists, turned to Astro when he heard his words.

"Heh, how can I not be excited! I want to learn those moves, those twists, that strength! I want to protect you so desperately!" Theo announced with a hint of determination in his tone.

Astro's heart warmed when he heard Theo's announcement, a smile formed on his face as he thought about their future together.

He wouldn't mind Theo being his protector for the rest of his life, but only if he were his lover too. He knew he would also put his life on the line for Theo even though his powers weren't that good, he just wouldn't be able to live if he knew Theo died trying to protect him!

Lovers protected eachother, and he stands by that rule.

Although he knew Theo would not want him to protect himself and he would rather Astro running away, he was adamant about this.

They would be lovers in life and death.

"Did I forget to tell you that we have an underground arena where you can train for now, after I ask father to find a mentor for you." Astro revealed with a small smirk on his face, Theo had gasped when he heard the news.

"ARE YOU FOR REAL?!" Theo screamed in disbelief, Tommy who was driving heard the sudden scream but didn't give them any mind, nor did Alisha since she knew they would never fight.

"These idiots, don't they know not the scream when I'm driving.. tsk.." Tommy reprimanded them outloud, although he knew they couldn't hear at all.

Meanwhile Theo kept repeating his question in a lower tone. Astro's smirk kept getting larger when he didn't answer Theo, in the end Theo gave Astro a peek on the cheek to convince him to tell the truth.

Astro couldn't hold his laughter as Theo eyed him with a determined look, "Haaha, you play dirty Theo!" Theo grinned but replied with, "I can do more if it means getting the answer~" Astro's eyes sparkled with a glint or excitement but he held back, "Fine fine, I will answer since I'm just so kind" He stopped for a little bit before continuing when he heard Theo pout, "Yes, we do have an arena."

Theo's eyes brightened, "Can we go there?!" He questioned with great enthusiasm, Astro slightly chuckled before nodding his head.

Theo pumped his fist in the air as he shouted 'yes' in joy. Astro eyes twinkled as warmth spread in his chest, he loved when Theo was excited since it made him happy too.

As the two continued to converse with great enthusiam, Astro managed to convince Theo to massage his legs and arms since he had exerted himself during the fight because he hadnt trained in awhile.

It didn't feel like long for the two on the trip back home since they chatted, but when they did Theo practically jumped out of the car as he dragged Astro along with him.

Alisha and Tommy didnt mind since the two were loverbirds and they didn't care what they did nor did they think they had the authority to ask, so instead they went to do their own thing.

Theo kept asking for directions as he walked through the huge mansion to get to Astro's parents room, Astro only knew the way since he had studied the layout of their home.

They went up 2 stairways and into a hallway where 4 doors were, at the end of the hallway was another door that had a warm atmosphere around it.

"Their room is at the end, but I suggest going to the study since its only 4pm and their probably still working." Astro suggestion wasn't only due to that reason though, he also said it since he knew his parents crowns and gowns were in their bedroom, and that would give away their identity.

"Their study is on the right, the room should have a sliding door." Astro informed when Astro stopped them in the hall randomly, "Gotcha!" Theo commented as he guided them to the room Astro pointed out.

He knocked first and a deep voice greeted them with, "Come in" Theo and Astro instantly knew that it was Zachary.

Theo slid the door open, his eyes widened when he saw a huge room with a large table that had over 15 seats surrounding it. A huge window was on one side of the room and a huge flat screen tv sat comfortably on the wall.

Zachary was sitting at the head of the table with Maria beside him.

"Hi Astro, and Theo. What are you two doing here?" Maria questioned when they walked in.

"Helloo Mother! And Father" Astro greeted with a wave in their direction, Theo only gave a small bow as greeting.

"I would like to ask you to hire a instructor for Theo, only for his combact training though. Today he didnt even get to start his class before it finished." Astro started straight away, Maria thought for a moment before responding with, "Okay, you got anyone in mind or should I find someone?" She asked.

Astro thought for a moment before having having a sudden name pop up in his mind, his mouth instinctively opened and out came the name, "Mathew.."

Theo looked at him weirdly before thinking and nodding in agreement, afterall, he trusted Astro's judgement.

"Mathew..?" Maria questioned since all they said was a name, "His an assassin, I'm guessing he works with that famous organization, I can call up Uncle Callum and ask since I'm sure he knows." Astro shrugged his shoulders to show that he didn't mind.

"Assassin..? Do you also want another instructor to learn a different style of fighting so you can catch your enemy offguard?" Maria's question stumped them, that was until Theo enthusiastically nodded his head, he really wanted to learn how to fight in different ways! That means he has a higher chance of beating his enemy!

"Yes yes yes!" He repeated excitedly, Maria smiled and nodded, she took out a phone in her pocket as she rung someone up.

Meanwhile Astro got out his box, he ordered Robert to call Uncle Callum which rung twice before it was picked up.

"Hello Astro! Whatcha need my lil niece?!" He greeted happily before quickly asking what the sudden call was for, "Hi Uncle Callum! I was wondering what organization Mathew was from, or even his last name.." Astro politely asked.

There was silence on the other side uncle as the sound of a draw being opened echoed through the line, "It says his from that Killer Bat's organisation and that his last name is Sharpe. I can give you his contact if you want?" Callum gave out the information with no hesitation, mostly because he trusted Astro.

"Yes please! Thanks Uncle Callum!" Astro thanked before saying his goodbyes, "Just send it over, thanks again Uncle! Byeee" Then he hung up, a few seconds later a ding was heard and Mathew's contact info was added to the box.

"Call Mathew Sharpe", Astro commanded, it rung 5 times before it picked up.

"Who is it?" A voice rung out, Astro immediately responded with, "Hello Mathew, this is Astro. We met at Callum's shop!" Astro reminded him just incase he forgot, "Oh, hello Astro, what you want?" Mathew asked.

"I have a proposal to make.." Astro commented, a hum was heard on the other side of the phone, Astro continued, "If there anyway you would want to be a mentor for Theo?"

Another hum came again, Astro could tell that he was a bit interested, "Pay would be high too." He commented, Mathew immediately asked how much to which Astro replied with, "1000 gold a fortnight?"

A hum was heard, it was clearly an agreement.

"Of course, there would be a contract so theres no way you would be ripped off. Lessons would go straight after school and go for 3-4 hours depending on how long Theo lasts." Mathew hummed again before saying, "Give address and time."

Theo, who was listening pumped his fists as Astro gave the information.

The call ended and at the same time so did Maria's, "I've got someone who can be a intructor. She would only be able to train to every second day though." Maria informed, Theo didnt mind at all and nodded.

"I've got Mathew, I can ask him to change training days to every second day."

As Maria, Astro and Theo set up times and places, the time went by fast.

After 2 hours they finally had everything set. The contracts were ready and waiting for signatures and Theo was excited.

"Arena time?!" He called out as he turned to Astro, a smile formed on his face.
