"Give It All"

Ale Piola was explaining his halftime tactics to beat and create opportunities for themselves to score in the second half against Bologna C.F. After Ale Piola completed explaining his tactics to his players he turned towards his wrist and saw the time on his wristwatch and only five minutes were left for the second half to start. He took a whiff and since only five minutes were left so he gave the last locker room speech before the start of the second half to motivate his players.

"Look guys we already hit a low when we ended up in the relegation zone last season and I don't want to hit another low by getting relegated to the second division of the Italian league, we never got relegated from the premier division to second division in the entire history of the club and this makes our club more special, you all know that very well."

Every player was listening very carefully to what Ale Piola was saying.  Ale Piola further continued.

"Today I don't want to break that streak and put our history at stake. Today you and I, all of us are fighting for the dignity and pride of this club because if we lose then everyone will put their fingers at us, not just the opposition fans who don't support us but even our fans out there sitting in the stadium will raise questions at us. Guys before you go out again to play the second half I want you all to look at the badge on your jerseys that you all are wearing. This badge is a symbol of always giving a fight, a symbol of never losing hope till the last minute."

Every player was motivated by the speech of Ale Piola, they all together held the symbol of the club on their jerseys and gave a kiss to it. Ale was glad to see it and he knew that his players are ready to give it all. He asked his players.

"SO ARE YOU GUYS READY TO GIVE YOUR EVERYTHING ON THE FIELD TO WIN THIS MATCH TONIGHT?!!!"

Everyone replied cheerfully.

"YES, BOSS!!"

Ale then asked.

"ARE YOU ALL READY TO FIGHT AND WIN FOR THIS CLUB AND THOSE FANS WHO ARE SUPPORTING YOU OUTSIDE, NO MATTER WHAT?!!"

Everyone again replied.

"YES, COACH!!"

Ale then cheered his team up and told them to move out of the dressing room to the field for the second half.

"SO C'MON GUYS LET'S GO! LET'S GO! LET'S GO OUT AND SHOW THEM THAT WE ARE PARMA C.F. AND WE NEVER LOSE LIKE THAT, GET UP, GET UP."

Everyone got up from their seats and the team captain Cilo Eincho clapped and cheered his teammates, by telling them.

"C'MON GUYS LET'S GO, LET'S GO. LET'S SHOW THEM WHAT WE CAN DO WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS, GO, GO, GO!!"

Cilo Eincho leads his team out of the dressing room towards the field like a leader and Ale Piola was giving them a light pat on the back every player to cheer them up. Paulo followed them being the last person in the line to follow them. Ale Piola gave a pat on his back as well but he gently held him by his shoulder to stop him for a while. He asked him.

"Paulo, did you understand everything that I told you all right now?"

Paulo gently replied.

"Yes coach, I understand everything that you said."

Ale continued.

"Ok, that's great! Paulo, be ready because you are going to get on the pitch in the second half. I'll tell you ten minutes earlier when I will substitute you for Lorenzo."

Paulo understood everything and nodded his head to reply to him positively. Before he could leave the dressing room, Ale said.

"Paulo, despite what you have done in training I still have very expectations from you, I believe that you can do something that nobody has expected from you, Ok?"

Paulo felt encouraged by his words and replied.

"Yes, coach! I will try my best."

Ale then told.

"Great, now let's move towards the field."

After the conversation, they both left the dressing room together.

---------

The players of both teams came back to the tunnel the Bologna F.C. players were already very happy over their first-half performance but when they saw the Parma C.F players being so motivated after such a horrible display in first-half they all felt a little bit awkward about them, some of the players even giggled at them and some players also started to make fun of them in a hush-hush manner. One player said to another.

"I think these guys are very motivated and happy to play in the second division for the first time."

Another player replied to him.

"Yeah, and why not this is the only achievement they can get this season."

Macella overheard what they both said and straight went at them to confront them. Macella asked angrily.

"Hey! what you both idiots are talking about, don't forget that the match is not over yet."

The two players of Bologna F.C. also retaliated.

"Hey who you are calling idiots? and what if the match is not over yet, you don't forget that your team is two nil down and even in the second half we will destroy your team and send you into the second division."

They were a huge bust-up between Macella and the two players, the interaction between them turned so ugly that the players and the captains of their respective team had to interrupt to stop them. Leonardo and Cilo Eincho pulled them away from each other, Cilo Eincho advised Macella not to get exaggerated and control his emotions but Macella replied.

"But captain these two are making fun of us and our team how can I stay calm?"

Cilo Eincho then answered.

"Listen Macella, we have to be motivated not raged by the jokes and slanders that they are making about us, it will get only worse, ok? just focus on the game."

Macella understood what his captain told him and controlled his feelings and remained calm.

On the other hand, Leonardo was telling the same thing that Cilo Eincho said but they both argued.

"But he was the first one to start, he called us idiots."

Leonardo replied.

"Stop arguing like children and remember it's not over until the final whistle anything can happen in football and most importantly we should show respect towards our opponents despite we beat, alright?"

Both players also understood what Leonardo said and after the confrontation, both captains of the team shook hands with each other to show respect and asked Macella and two other players to do so. Macella shook hands with both of them but the handshake between them wasn't as respectful as it should've been. After that, the players of both teams went out of the tunnel to the pitch for the second half.
