Chapter 5

Luke and Zegion left the headquarters and set their new destiny to Zegion's Guild.

"Mr.Lockster may I ask more about your guild?"

"Sure. Well, its name is Exiled Guild we are currently the strongest guild in the kingdom."

"Really?" Luke said in shock.

He didn't know the standards of powers in this world, but he knew that be the number one in the kingdom was surely a big deal.

"Yes, it is. If we wanted to compare in the continental scale we could be on the top five of strongest guilds."

"If that's the case, is ok for me to join? I mean I will be very great full if I can join, but I doubt that I can meet so ought standards."

Zegion let out a little giggle, looking a Luke, he thought that he looked nervous about all the situation. But this much was expected. He didn't care what he will need to do, but he would make Luke join his guild no matter the cost.

"Don't worry. I can guarantee you that there will be no problems at all. So rest assured."

"Even though that I don't think I can do much, I will learn fast and turn useful to Mr.Lockster," Luke said energetically with an honest smile.

"Then I will be waiting for that."

Zegion was really waiting. Back then, when he met Luke at the entrance of the gate of the Serenity Forest he felt immediately interested in Luke. Just when he put his eyes on him for the first time, something was telling that he had to take that little half-elf no matter what.

Zegion was an ancient dragon, a creature that had exited way before the gates, and travelers appeared on this world. To survive in these new modern times he uses a polymorph skill so he could pass a human.

Since Zegion was what now they called the Dragon Race, he was more affectionally to other races besides humans. It wasn't like he dislike humans, but after the incident of the gates and the arrival of the travelers, the treat toward the other races besides the humans started to be discriminated against.

In consequence, races like elves, beastman, dragons, and demons tried to adapt to this new world, but the ones that couldn't stand this new reality went into hiding, excluding themselves from the rest of the world.

Zegion didn't like that situation. Even though that this type of race had similarities with the monsters that came out of the gate, this wasn't enough reason for the harmful treatment. Before the gates appeared, monsters already existed in this world. The real reason why this type of behavior appeared was because of the travelers.

He knew that the original world that the travelers came from didn't have magic or any other races except for humans. So they didn't have any type of magic or skills until the [System] appeared with the gates and started to fight with the monsters.

At first, it wasn't that big of an issue, after all, the humans of this world were already accustomed to magic and other races. But with time as the travelers reproduced and shared their thoughts, ideas, and experiences from their previous world started to affect the original population of this world, now the racism against the nonhuman races was quite big.

Zegion objective was to create a safe place for the nonhuman races that still wanted to live freely and with their heads up.

Until now, there were small hiding villages around the world where larges populations of nonhuman races gathered, but in the end, they're were hiding.

To create a safe palace on the outside, Zegion founded the Exiled Guild an established on the Orion Kingdom where the treatment of the nonhuman races was not that bad. After a couple of years, a lot of hunters joined the guild making a big force for the nonhuman races.

'Still, this is not enough'

Zegion still didn't feel satisfied with the current state of things, whoever he didn't have a plan to change things and he didn't have the right requirement to do a change.

But all that changed when he met Luke.

After the little half-elf lost consciousness in his arms, he decided to take him to the hospital. At first, he was just curious about the boy that came out of the dungeon. But his dragon's instinct was telling him that was something about him that was out of order.

Until now Zegion Instinct was never wrong. After was it was an A skill that had high rates of currency.

When they arrived at the hospital, he signed up the boy and he brings him to a room.

Then Zegion took out from his inventory a diamond-shaped object. Then Zegion opens the information window about the item.

[Fragment of Athena A]

[Allows the user to see partially the information about the target. Restrictions may be applied.]

This was an A rank item that was very hard to obtain. Appraise skills were very rare. They had the machine to decided ranks for hunters but that information was for the hunter alone, no third parties were able to see that information besides general information like the hunter rank or race.

So, the item that Zegion had in his hand was very rare to obtain.

'Do I want to use him at him?'

He was not that sure. Even though his skill was telling him that was something rare with this boy, the [Fragment of Athena] was something that he didn't have a lot to spare.

'Well, here goes nothing'

In the end, he deiced to use it, but he was a little conflicted.

Zegion had a grumpy face as he watched the little half-elf stats.

[NAME: Luke ▣▣▣▣]

[Raze: Half Elf]

[Unregister Hunter]

[Age: 19]

[Stats] [NOT AVAILABLE] +

[Skills] [NOT AVAILABLE] +

[Titles: Tamer.]

Most of his information was censured by the system, which means that one [Fragment of Athena] wasn't enough to reveal Luke's information.

He could use one more [Fragment of Athena] to unlock the rest of the information, but he already use one of them, he only had one more item left.

He was sure that he would use it since normally one [Fragment of Athena] was more than enough to displayed all the information about a hunter. So if Luke had so many restrictions that required a second use of the item, it means that he had something very special, something so precious that the system itself was hiding.

Zegion wanted to know. No, more than that, he needs it to know. His instinct skill was screaming that this could be a turning point.

The problem was that he only had one more [Fragment of Athena] left, so he had to chooses if he was going to use it to reveal Luke's stats or skills.

Both of those things were precious information for a hunter. Normally nobody was going to tell you at first had what their stats of skill you had. So Zegion had to choose wisely and decided what information he was going to unlock.

'Yeah, let's go with this.'

After a couple of minutes, he deiced to open Luke's skill set. If he had low stats but he had useful skills then it was more beneficial to Zegion.

Then finally Zegion used his last [Fragment of Athena] and open Luke's lock information, and he didn't regret it.

"Ha, I think I hit the jackpot."

He was in shock and extremely happy, Zegion was euphoric after seeing Luke's skills.

[Conqueror Soul L]

[Athena's Wisdom L]

[Boss Buddy L]

"Ha…"

Zegion let out a big sigh after he read about the effects of Luke's skills.

'How is possible to have three L Skills!?'

Zegion still couldn't believe that the little half-elf that was peacefully sleeping in the hospital bed, was so unique.

It was extremely rare for a Hunter to have an L or M skill, but Luke had three of them. And above that, the effects were far beyond useful. With the skills that Luke had he wouldn't need more [Fragments of Athena] when he had the full version in front of him.

'But…this is a double-edged sword.'

He knew that having the skill [Athena's Wisdom L] was very useful to use, but only for the user of the skill. For a stranger like him, this was a very serious problem.

Because Luke could use his [Athena's Wisdom L], that meant that he would discover about he is a dragon.

"Hmmm…what should I do with you, little boy," Zegion said as he put his fingers through Lukes's hair and pass his hand by his chin.

The [Athena's Wisdom L] wasn't the only good skill that Luke had. The other two skills were extremely good their skill seems to be a perfect match with Zegion to the point that he thought that this little elf was exactly what he was waiting for.

Then he made his resolve. He would make Luke his. He wasn't going to give him to anybody else. No matter what happened he would make this little elf unable to be apart from him.

"Wake up soon, my little treasure."
