TWISTED: Chess Piece

Chess watched as the people around them prepared themselves to attack. But before they could move a step, the newly arrived person who called himself Jill jumped down the pavement and landed right atop one of those guys.

The other thugs looked alarmed and swarmed at him, but Jill quickly swiped his feet on the ground, causing the first person to fall and cause a domino effect to the others who followed closely behind him.

Jill took that chance to approach Chess with an interested face.

"Is it true that you lost your memory?" he asked, sounding too pleased.

Chess was bewildered. It was the first that someone asked him that question merrily, without an ounce of worry. The first time he met that man in glasses, he acted happy too see him, but then later on looked worried when he couldn't recognize him.
