Chapter 2

Eros's Pov

"Yo Eros!" Harry greeted.

He offered for fist bump and I quickly accepted it.

"Yo" I greeted shortly.

Harry is one of my friend, he's also the owner of this club. He's club is so popular because the owner is so friendly and all the drink here are all imported from different country.

"Where's Calyx?" He asked.

I shrugged, "Maybe, he's flirting with woman again. You know, Calyx is Calyx." I said.

Suddenly a man came and join us to the table.

"Speaking of the devil." I said.

"What's with me?" he asked. He sat on the couch and pour a drink on his glass. He drinks it quickly as if it is just a water.

"Nothing. Where have you been?" Harry asked while laughing.

"Wandering around at your club." He said shortly while smirking.

"We know you Calyx. You might be looking for a woman again." Harry said sarcastically.

Calyx just shrugged at him. He turned his gaze at me, "I heard from dad that you're the one who's going to inherit your parent's company?" he asked.

I just shrugged at him. I don't want to talk about it now, it's ruining my mood.

"Where's Louie?" I asked to change the topic.

"Ooh, that bastard will be late as usual. He's busy with his school works." Calyx said.

"He's so hardworking, huh?" Harry said with sarcastic tone.

A few minutes passed and I'm the only one who left here at the couch. Calyx is missing again. I guess he's wandering around to flirt with woman. Harry left for a while because he needs to take care of something at her office. Louie arrived here earlier but left also for a while because he needs to take a call.

I poured a drink in my glass and drink it quickly. The tequila went straight to my throat, I poured another glass and drink it quickly again. I feel dizzy but this is nothing to me.

I almost drink all the liquor on our table but they haven't still come back. F*ck! I feel like I'm drunk, I'm almost felt dizzy to my last shot. I heard my phone rang so I took it to my pocket.

It's mom.

I pressed the cancel button but her name keeps on showing up on screen. I ignored it and call for the waiter to serve another set of liquor. While I was waiting for the liquor, a text message from mom showed up from the screen of my cellphone.

MOM.

'Come on Eros, where are you? All our business partners are here. You need to meet them. Go home now, stop doing stupid things.'

Business.

Lol, I'm not going home just to meet your fucking business partners. I turned off my phone and started to look around for my friends. I walked closer to the dance floor, the crowds are all dancing wild. It's suffocating, I can smell the mixed smell of alcohol from them.

I found Calyx at the center, he's kissing a girl. Gross! I walked closer to him and grab his face.

"Stop flirting here, I'm so bored at the couch." I complaint.

"Nah, I'm busy here. I'll go there later." He said and grab again the girl.

F*ck this guy!

I was walking at the sea of people when a man suddenly grabs my collar and throw a punch at my face. I fell on the floor because of the strong punch, I felt the taste of blood from my lips. I quickly stand up and wipe the blood on my lips.

"You! son of a b*tch! It's payback time!" He said angrily.

We got the attention of all the people in the club. They're all watching us, no one wants to stop the angry man.

It's Thomas, one of the bastard that I got a fight. I looked at him coldly, I'm not in a mood to have a fight but if he insists, it's my pleasure to serve him a good fight.

He's about to throw a punch again but I avoided it quickly and throw my punch to him.

He's a boring guy.

"You! son of a bitch! I will kill you!" he shouted.

"Go on. Do it." I said while avoiding his nonstop punch.

He grabs a bottle of liquor and broke the lower part of it. He pointed at me the broken bottle, he's holding the neck of it. When he's about to stab it to me, I grabbed a chair and I immediately strike it to him. He fell on the floor.

"Next time, know your place Evan" I said. "I'm not in the mood to fight you."

I was about to walked away when a two man grab my two arms. F*ck Thomas! Now, Thomas are laughing loudly, he brought his friends.

"Let go or I will beat you until you can't stand anymore." I said coldly to them both. They don't listen to me instead they hold both of my arms tightly.

"It's our turn to beat you until you can't stand anymore Clarkson" The guy on my left side said.

Thomas stand up and wiped his bleeding lips. He stretch also his back that I strike earlier. He smirked at me when he saw that both of his friends are holding me.

"You messed up Clarkson." He said while smirking.

"Not today." I said while smirking too and immediately kicked the private part of the man right beside me so that he can loosen his hand on my arm. I immediately throw a punch to the other guy in my left side. I received a punch from Thomas but I recovered immediately. The man that I kicked on his private part earlier is shouting because of pain.

"Serves you right asshole!" I exclaimed.

They're throwing a punch at me and I recovered immediately but I fall on the floor when a man suddenly strikes me a bottle of liquor.

F*ck! I felt dizzy because of that. But before they throw a punch again, I saw Calyx and Louie punching those guys till they got knocked down. Harry stopped them because we got all the attention.

I can taste the blood coming from my mouth. In the midst of commotion, a woman got my attention. She looked innocent while watching us. She's just staring at me intently. She drank the last shot of her wine and then turned her back at me. My chest hurt when I see her walked away, I don't know why.

"Are you okay dude?" Louie asked.

I ignored him and immediately get up but I lose control. I can feel the blood from the back of my head down to my nape, I shake my head to control my vision but everything keeps blurring. The last time I know, I heard them calling my name before everything went black.
