I glanced at my curtain covered window, it must have been my imagination.

Again the knock came, and again. I picked up my nearest weapon - my biology textbook, it’s fat enough to kill anyone - and walked over to the window and took a peek through the curtains. There stood Eugene who kept throwing tiny pebbles at my window.

I opened the window and whispered-yelled,“What the hell!” my hands waving around for emphasis.

“My jacket.”

“Live without it for a day.”

“I can't,” he said, glancing around before looking back at me, “girls die to see me in it,”

I was about to give a nice comeback when he whispered, “I'm coming.”

I watched in disbelief as he picked the ladder beside my window, and connected it with my window. To my horror, he started climbing it.
