We Need To Talk pt1

(Regina’s POV)

Regina woke up her head hurt and eyes stung as she opened them, looking around in confusion wondering how she got into her own bed last night, her mind fuzzy over the details of yesterday she remembered parts but not everything. So Regina got out of bed noticing her roommate was already up and gone about her day she just shrugged it off and got her things ready for her shower and prepares herself for the day. As she was washing her hair it hit her like a flash of light she remembered she kissed Emma “oh god noooo” she screamed Regina knew she had messed up and needed to talk to the blonde and just say she was drunk and didn’t know what she was doing.... she could make the blonde believe that or maybe she could act as if nothing happened and Emma wouldn’t confront her later about it. As she finished off getting ready for her day she could see the bottle of water and two tablets on her locker and took them thinking that’s just another sweet thing about Emma she was so kind “ughh why do I think like this” she said to herself and left for the day.

(Emma’s POV)

Emma had woken up early to avoid that awkward moment with Regina. She knew that the brunette was drunk last night and maybe she would be lucky enough that Regina would not remember or maybe not say anything and they can just go on with their usual treatment of each other she needed to keep her distance from Regina and that evil Katherine. She was so angry at the bottle blonde that she would love to be able to hurt her like she had done to Emma. Emma had come so close to being able to get the wires out of her mouth and Katherine hurting Emma like she did set her time back but luckily for Emma She didn’t set it back too far.

“Move Nerd” Emma heard then felt herself being pushed into the wall by Katherine and sliding down to the floor, “god do you have to be everywhere? why don’t you do us all a favour and just drop dead” Katherine laughed and she kicked Emma and walked off with her friends leaving Emma on the floor tears in her eyes as she tried to get up as quickly as she could hoping not too many people had seen the embarrassing encounter. “Hey! Are you ok? Don’t let those bitches get to you; they are like that with everyone I’m surprised that bitch Regina is not latched onto her hip she’s actually worse she once held my head in the toilet in high-school so long that I actually passed out, if I were you I would stay well out of their way” the girl whom she has yet to learn her name said as she helped Emma and walked along with her as they made their way to the classes “oh I’m Tina by the way” the girls smiled holding out her hand Emma took it and smiled back. Emma took out her pad and pen and wrote “nice to meet you, how do you know my name?” Tina took the page and read it and smiled “I sit behind you in most classes” she blushed. “Oh I’m sorry I just get totally stuck in when there is a lecture going on I know it makes me a nerd but I love it” Emma wrote blushing. Tina took the notepad and pen and wrote something confusion written on Emma’s face staring at Tina while she gave Emma a smile handing her back the pad and pen “That’s my number if you would maybe like to hang out sometime, you can text me and we can arrange something if you like” Emma smiled at this and nodding her head. “Ok well would you like to walk to class together?” Emma nodded again not being able to take her smile from her face thinking maybe just maybe she could get to know Tina and become friends or if she was lucky enough maybe even more...

(Regina’s POV)

As she walked down the corridor she noticed Emma and some stranger talking “or exchanging notes” she thought to herself all she could see was that they were just smiling at each-other she slowed and hid behind one of the walls trying to hear what was being said on this strangers side. This girl seemed very happy to be talking to Emma not that Regina was jealous “as if” she thought while rolling her eyes. Then she heard this girl say that she gave Emma her number and they could meet up “ugh so sappy” she thought again and huffed in irritation all Regina wanted to do was let them leave and head to her lecture but she still couldn’t face Emma not after last night, a blush coming to her cheeks she hated this she needed to talk to Emma but like this in a corridor “no way”. All Regina could do was watch Emma and this stranger walk away together smiling at each-other, this irritated her further how the hell is she going to get to know Emma a bit more if that nerd is around. She will never get to apologise to Emma for not only kissing her but also how she had treated her but she had to try maybe she could wait for Emma after and buy pizza or something and she could offer up a movie “That’s what I’ll do tonight” she said to herself aloud this time smiling until she noticed people looking at her strangely she gave them a scary stare while walking away and heading to her class excited to see what happens later she’s hoping beyond hope that Emma will give her a chance and maybe if she’s lucky they can become friends or even in time more than that “A girl can only hope” this time thinking of it a huge smile on her face getting excited as she thought of nothing else for the rest of her day....
