“Ira! My parents are already ho… oh, h-hi... you’re also here!” 


Maggie’s animated face swiftly disappeared and it turned red the moment she saw Eros’ tranquil face. His composed stance always gets her. 


When the incident at the pub flashed in her mind, she turned redder. 


“No headaches?” he asked her with an amiable smile. Maggie pressed her lips together and gently shook her head. 


Ira crinkled her eyebrows how Eros shifted his countenance. His smiling face doesn't look genuine to her. 


“Oh, right!” Ira broke the tension. “I came here to thank you about last night. But, what exactly happened?” 


Eros stared at her with creased eyebrows. 


“You don’t remember what happened? Like nothing at all?” 


“Well, I remember you hugging me before I fainted.” 


“Were you drunk that night too?” Ira sneered.
