The executive meeting came to an end two hours later. Emma was surprised when some of the executives came to compliment her afterward for a great presentation. A few admitted they misjudged her while most apologized for the way Isaac-John treated her. Now they know she was truly worthy to be the Empire's Executive Accountant.

Emma was happy that the presentation was a success. She looked towards where Leo was sitting and their eyes locked for some seconds. She felt tingly sensations all over and wanted to be able to talk to him at least since she knew they couldn't afford to display any kind of emotions in front of the other staff. Just when she was about to go to him, Nicholas appeared and came to talk to her, diverting her attention back to work again.
