CHAPTER 4: FOUNDING (2)

The classes are done and the plan of Alica and El begins. By waking Kheres of course. Since the start of the class he has been sleeping and I think he hasn't eaten yet since morning. The teachers let him be because they knew that Kheres was only here. After all, his parents forced him to come to school today.

"Hmm… El you wake Kheres up." Alica timidly said.

"Nope! You suggested this so you asked him." El suggested.

"Argh! Fine…"

Alica walked towards Kheres and when she was about to speak Kheres' head popped out of the desk and looked at Alica. Alica then smiled at him and gave a little hello to him.

Kheres was not a very friendly person. He was a bad spirit lingering throughout the room when Lorelai was not around. When we had a group activity Kheres was not in the same group as Lorelai, he-am, how can I say this… he was very cooperative?

I mean he just finished up the work and did not speak after that. He was like a pet when Lorelai was around and a stone statue when Lorelai was not around. Now that the owner is no more I'm afraid that he will be a stone statue forever.

"Mhmm… Kheres do you wanna come with us and investigate the-Ahmm.." El covers Alica's mouth.

"Ah! What she means is that we were going to visit Jade and the others in the hospital, and we just wanted to ask if you could come with us? HEHEHE" El awkwardly said.

"Fine…let's go."

All of us were shocked by hearing Kheres' response. It was very unexpected. Then again I was just eavesdropping on their conversation. It had nothing to do with me.

"Okay… Let's go!" Alica said.

"Should we bring flowers or fruits perhaps?" El suggested while they walked out of the classroom.

I sigh deeply and fix my things before heading out of the room. As I walked through the hallway people's hot topic was our accident, since it was taboo to talk about it during class hours, this was the time when they could freely talk about it.

People did not care about the dead person only Kheres did, since they were close to each other. Lorelai was not a talkative person either. They just mingle with themselves. No one cared, neither did I.

Our classmates only cared about their image, the other students only cared about the trends, the teachers only cared about their work, the school only cared about the reputation, and the police only cared about the money.

Ignorance is bliss…

For them that is.

On my way home I noticed a van rushing towards me at a very high speed. I ignored it and continued my way since I knew that it was not for me.

Then the van crashes into another student wearing the same uniform as me. Squashing the student's limbs and bones. Pinkish red blood poured on the windshield of the van.

People started to scream and panicked the hell out of their skulls. Since there is a literal skull poking out of the glass. Making people who see this puke out of their stomachs and I am no exception to that.

My shivering knees can't support my body as I slam on the ground. People ran past me and stamped on my feet causing my feet to be broken.

A few moments later the police arrived. This scene is quite familiar just like the accident that happened last time but it wasn't the bus but a van.

Flashbacks rushed into me like a bullet hitting my head. Blood flows into my head as I'm surrounded by blood. I collapsed.

And so I thought.
