The reason why Adrian was making Hannah bring so many evil people alive was not because he wanted to kill them and collect their souls, but because he wanted Evan to pull all these people inside his space, and use their talents and powers to his advantage.

While the soul in his space would do its job, make sure that these people did not do anything harmful to each other, cultivate like good people do, and stay like good citizens.

In return it would provide them with food; else, the punishment it would give them would be enough for them to beg for their mothers.

Anyway, these people were evil to the bone, the more they were punished, the more they were tortured, the better.

Only by getting used by Evan would they do something good for the world, so why not get rid of these garbage from the Arora and increase Evan's power?
