GreenCloud Town to PurpleCloud Town

Noah and Alice finally arrived in GreenCloud Town. The town was mostly vacant and similar to BlueCloud Town. They didn't see anyone as they walked by to the teleportation hall. Neither did they try to find anyone.

At the Teleportation Hall Noah looked at Alice. They both took out a piece of cloth and covered their faces. They had already discussed decided they would hide their identities.

[Do you wish to teleport?]

Noah and Alice both said yes. It cost them 10 silver each which wasn't much. Noah currently had more than 600 silver while Alice had around 300 silver.

Everything flashed white, then black as they appeared in another Teleportation Hall. They walked out and were met with a bustling town.

Many people walked around wearing various types of clothes. Horses and carriages hurried through the middle of the streets, as stalls and shops greeted customers.

"We'll stay at an Inn for tonight and leave by tomorrow. So where do you want to go first?" Noah asked Alice as the two trotted forward through the streets.

"I want first go to an Inn and wash up, then sell all the stuff we've collected," Alice said as she looked around.

Noah agreed. The two found an Inn called the FlowerBird Inn. The two got a large room with two beds on its first floor, paying five silver.

Up the stairs and unlocking the door with the keys they were given, they entered. The room had two beds and one washroom. Alice went to wash first as Noah organised everything they were going to sell.

After he washed up, they went left the Inn, leaving their horses in the Inn's stable. They found the commercial area, where many shops and sellers were waiting for customers. They found a place to sell their things.

The merchant wasn't too strict giving a fair price for everything. They gave everything earning around 300 more silver.

The two then strolled through the bazaar-like market. The shops primarily sold ordinary objects without any attributes. They also had F Class items, but all of them were as good or worst the items they had sold.

One item had caught Noah's attention. It was a Mana Bracelet that gave +10 to the Mana attribute.

"How much is this for?" Holding the bracelet up. It had a blue crystal with a silver band.

"150 silver."

*cough* Noah almost choked hearing the price, he put it down and walked away.

Spending the day looking around they ended up only buying two black cloth masks to cover their faces. Noah bought an additional bamboo hat. It seemed out of place with what he was wearing but it helped in hiding his face.

They went back to the Inn. The streets were now lit up by lanterns and crystals.

Walking in, they sat down to eat at an empty table. They ordered a few things that were brought to them soon.

Alice took off her mask and had a bite, "I've been eating your cooking for so long other food doesn't fit my palate anymore."

"It's been a while since I cooked," Noah said lowering his mask, still wearing the bamboo hat.

"Not here on earth, you've been stuffing me with so much food."

As the two talked a man on the table next to them, spoke, "Hey, you two, I haven't seen you before are you new?"

Noah stopped and looked, a man seemingly in his thirties was looking at them.

"We are, we came here from another town," Noah answered.

"Which town? Floyd here also came from a different town, was it GreenCloud? did you come from there?"

"We did use the teleportation hall there, but we came from BlueCloud Town."

"BlueCloud... isn't that way out, you must have spent all your time travelling since you came here. What's your name? I'm Jason."

"I'm Noah and this Alice." Noah didn't feel the need to hide their names since they weren't uncommon.

"This next to me is Floyd, She is Amna and he is Ji Won, we met here and formed a party. Actually, you guys seem familiar with each other, do you know each other on earth?"

Noah looked at Jason and the other three. Amna, Floyd and Ji Won were only silently eating and had this distance between them. They clearly weren't familiar with each other. The only reason they formed a group was because Jason was holding them all together.

"No. We met here and have been together since then." Noah answered casually. He didn't say he knew Alice since the probability of someone you know arriving in the same town was minuscule. Although not impossible the probability was so low i9t would make people suspicious. If they somehow deduced that Noah and Alice knew where an access point was it could be dangerous.

An access point was invaluable since it allowed anyone to enter without the need to wait for a mana wave. He was sure that he could probably sell the three spots of the access point on the island for billions of dollars. But money wasn't much of a concern to him and he would rather keep it a secret.

He hadn't even told his parents to keep the secret safe. Alice also knew all of this. She hadn't thought about it until Noah had brought it to her attention.

"You guys must have hit it off well with his close you are, So Alice I couldn't help but notice you're wearing F Class armour, right?"

Alice nodded stuffing her mouth with food, she wasn't a fan of the taste but that didn't matter since she was hungry.

"I could tell since I have one myself. What weapons do you guys use?" Jason raised his arms to show two forearm guards.

"I use a gun and Alice uses a dagger."

"Floyd and I both use a sword, Amna uses a bow and Ji Won a wand. We'll be starting to clear E Class dungeons soon, do you guys want to join us?"

"Sorry, we won't be staying in this town we'll be going to RoyalCloud City soon."

"I see, did guys already join a guild?"

Noah was familiar with guilds. They were large groups that recruited people online on earth. Most of them were based in cities where the population was high. They formed a system under a guild master. To join one you would need to do a simple test of killing a Level 3 F Class monster.

Noah didn't answer instead asked, "Hey, do you know who's the strongest in the town?"

"I would say Floyd here is one of the strongest, he used to do fencing on earth, so he was able to kill monsters almost as soon as he came."

Noah looked at Floyd, because of his talents he was able to sense and make estimate guess of a persons strength. Floyd seemed around level 1 at most. The whole group actually wasn't that strong. Alice could take them on by herself. It was to be expected since they likely came two weeks ago.

Noah lowered his bamboo hat and got up after he finished eating. He was wary of Floyd figuring out his identity. He was popular as an actor but he was a must-know in the fencing community.

"Wait, RoyalCloud Town is far, much further than what you travelled to get here. It has higher level monsters and dungeons along the way. I can tell you guys are strong but it would be safer to stay here for a while."

"Thanks." Noah then walked with Alice to his room.

Alice saw that Noah was in contemplation and didn't say anything. She got in her bed patting it telling Noah to get in bed with her. She didn't like sleeping alone now.

Noah got in bed and slept for the few hours he was able to sleep.

...

His Insomnia trait didn't let him sleep longer. Noah woke up in three hours and carefully got out of bed trying not to wake up Alice. He changed and then walked out of the room locking it.

Out of the Inn, back into, it was around Midnight, the town had cleared up as businesses closed or were letting their last customers go.

Walking around town he noticed a shop, he hadn't seen before. It was called Secret Gun Valley. HE walked in to see all types of guns hung on the walls as a man leaning back with his feet on the table smoked a pipe.

Noah walked up to him, "Do you have anything better than this?" He put Black Wind in front of the man.

The man looked at the gun was surprised by it, he scrutinised Noah for a second then shook his head.

"That's probably the best gun you'll find for a while, the only thing better would be an E Class gun. You'll have to go to the cities to buy one of them."

Noah nodded and turned to leave.

"Wait! I'll give you an offer, I do have some information for guns much better than the one you just showed me, but it'll cost 50 silver."

"How much better?" Noah said as he turned around.

"D Class guns, I have five maps, each locating the dungeons where the design of a type of gun drops as well as the materials needed to craft it."

"Who do I need to go to craft them?" Noah said with interest.

"There's an Elven crafter who lives in a hut in DeadWood Forest, he currently only crafts wooden masks. But he's the best gun crafter you'll find. He should be able to craft a D Class gun."

"I'll buy it. Are you also selling the location of the Elven crafter?"

"I am. It'll be another 50 silver," The man smiled. "So which one of the five do you want to buy?"

"Tell me their attributes," Noah said looking at the five scrolls that had been placed in front of him.

"Nope, I don't know them myself. Just tell me what is your combat style is I'll choose one for you."

"I act as support." The man nodded and picked out the third one, "this should work well with you, Here is the map for the location of the Elven Crafter."

Noah gave him 100 silver which was worth one gold. He walked out of the shop with two pieces of paper. He opened his Explorer Map and had its information updated with the papers. He then stopped at a few more stores buying as many different maps as he could spending 20 more silver.
