On the two well-built horses, Noah and Alice trotted forward down a path of gravel and sand. On their sides were long fields of short verdant grass. The path led to a large gate with guards wearing silver armour standing around like statues. The gate was medieval style, wear it had to be risen up using old machines powered by mana.
They entered through the gate looking at the tall expansive stone brick wall. They already knew about this from the forum. Cities were generally walled off and well protected. They held a lot more valuable materials and equipment that would be attractive to monsters which was why they needed to be well defended, unlike the towns they had been to before.
RoyalCloud City had four gates on each side. They had walked in from the southern gate.
Noah's first impression was that the city was bland and boring. The buildings all had similar structural designs and were rather cubic. The number of stories of most buildings didn't exceed three. The colour of paint on the buildings varied between light yellows and pinks. It was obvious that the city wasn't man-made, rather generated by some type of computer program.
He had noticed this in all towns he had been to as well. This whole world was a beginner zone created for helping humans from earth adapt before they enter the Eternal Battlefield. So everything was generated by the system. Cities and towns didn't have much effort put into their details. Noah knew they were just placeholders, when the worlds combined, all the cities from earth would take over and become the primary living areas.
Down the stone laid streets, Noah and Alice stopped at an Inn and paid for a few days. The Inn was much larger than the one they had visited in PrupleCloud and a lot more popular. They left their horses and entered their room.
Alice jumped onto the bed stretching, she looked at Noah and said, "Did you notice how many people were watching us as we went down the street?"
"It should be all the new players that arrived a few days ago, they hadn't seen such equipment before, especially the masks and armour," Noah said taking off the silver masks. The masks hid aura but that didn't hide their elegant design.
Alice got up and looked in the mirror in the room. She hadn't seen herself for a while. Her entire equipment set had a revamp after Noah started running C Class dungeons. She was wearing a dark silver black chestplate with similar dark leggings. Her arms were protected by dark silver armguards and her hands by black leather gloves. The most attractive feature was black feathery tall boots reaching her knees.
Her well-proportioned figure was complimented by the tight-fitting clothes. On her waist she had two sheathed daggers, one was silver while the other was golden. With her tied up black hair, silver mask and enchanting purple eyes as a final touch, she looked like a graceful black deer.
"I thought armour was pretty, but I didn't think it would look so eye-catching when worn."

Set effects did exist but only when you had completed the set. Each of her equipment had the passive skill Dark Speed that increased her agility attribute by 2%. All five gave her an increase of 10%. With the buff she got from Guarded by Love by being close to Noah, she had an increase in all attributes by 10%, her effective agility attribute was around 10 points away from 200.
This record-breaking Agility attribute showed her what true speed was, she was able to run circles around agility based D Class Dungeon Lords, Her movements were hard to keep up with using the naked eye. In her last battle, she had been able to kill a D Class dungeon lord in less than twenty minutes without Noah's help.
Alice turned to look at Noah who sat on his bed, he was currently wearing the Silver Jade Leaf armour set under it a brown leather armour and a white shirt. His armour interweaved with patterns of jade green and silver across his body. He had gotten the leggings which were silvery grey and had metal knee pads made of jade-like material. His metallic silver boots had branches with leaves designed on the side with green.
If Alice was a dangerous yet dazzling black deer Noah was a soft and handsome sacred nature deer. His entire presence emitted a scent of forestry. With his ruffled back hair he looked and sky like eyes he had a wide look that perfectly worked with his aesthetic.
The two wood and rock staffs hung on his back and the silver deer mask with branching antlers made him seem like a druid.
"We need to stop by the Eternal Dragon Wing Auction House first. We might want to start looking for teammates or a guild to join. For even higher class dungeons we'll need more people. What do you think of the guilds here?"
There were two large guilds currently in RoyalCloud City, The Musketeers and The Royal Soldiers. Both guilds were small compared to the others on the forum but were decent. Noah and Alice had discussed joining it but because of their identities, they didn't want to get too close to other people.
"We should skip them, I think joining an adventure group or having a few people join us might be better. By the way how high are your attributes now?"

Noah looked at his status page, "My mana attribute finally broke through a hundred." His attributes were more evenly distributed than Alice's. He had done this because of his buff skills, especially Death's Dance that greatly increased his agility. This is why his equipment set was perfect for him.

Passive Skill: [Strong Mana Regenration] It increased his Mana Regeneration by 6% a minute.
It mainly increased his mana attribute but gave him high mana regeneration. He was regenerating a total of 10% mana per minute. That was the same amount of mana being passively regenerated when he would down and meditate. If he just made sure not to use more than 10% mana per minute his mana would remain completely full.
"We're much stronger than the people here it might be best to just go to a capital city if we want teammates at our level," Alice said.
"We can afford it, but we'd use a big chunk of our gold in teleporting, let's go see what we can get from the Auction House first. Then think about when we'll move to the capital city."
