True Wood Staff and Gun Design

Noah walked into the Teleportation Hall with the two staffs and gun on his back. Alice had fallen Alice in the Inn so he decided to go and run the Tree of Evil again.

He teleported in the direction of the dungeon. Appearing in a flash back into the forest, he got onto his Levitation Staff and sped towards the dungeon.

...

Inside he fought the Tree of Evil again. This was his eleventh attempt and he was getting sick of fighting it.

His head slightly moved to the right as he dodged a leaf blade. His body flowed through the leaf storm holding the Black Estoc. He came near the Tree and left a long deep gash on its trunk.

The three enhancers he added had greatly increased his damage and speed. He left another and jumped back. He filled the blade with mana and used both white and black reinforcement. The blade started to have dual colour energy swirl around it.

Noah then Flash Stepped in close and left a Slash. The entire tree was cut in a smooth swing. The tree fell to the side with a slam. its branches rustling.

"Woah, that was not what I was expecting."

[You have discovered hidden effect: Yin-Yang reinforcement]

"Oh? Hidden effects is a thing?" Noah opened the information about Yin-Yang reinforcement.

[Yin-Yang reinforcement]

When both black reinforcement and white reinforcement is active at the same time. Increases the damage of each attack and mana usage greatly.

Noah put it away, he would have to experiment with it to get a better feel. He was now more interested in the loot that dropped.

Going through the pile he had two items in his hand he hadn't seen before. One was a rolled-up scroll while the other was a staff.

He picked up the scroll first and saw words that almost brought him to tears,

[Ancient Magic Wooden Flint Lock Design] (D Class)

"Yes! It dropped. Finally... I can get the gun." Finishing his celebration he looked at the staff.

[True Wood Staff] (D Class)

Intelligence +39, Willpower +77, Sense +22, Mana +150

50% increase in magic damage

75% increase in nature magic damage

50% decrease in mana usage

Active Skill: [Root control] Summons roots out from the ground that can do as you please. Constantly uses mana.

Active Skill: [Leaf Storm]: Summons a tornado of leaf blades that shreds the enemy

cooldown: 30 minutes

Active Skill: [Flower Revival] Bring a person back to life until 5 seconds after death.

Uses: 3/3 (When all three uses are used the staff will be destroyed.

"A D Class weapon is a lot stronger. That mana attribute is more than three times the levitation Staff. Four abilities, two are strong AOE attacks. Looks like I have another staff to use, all that effert was worth it for two D Class weapons." Noah said scanning the staff.

The True Wood Staff was longer than his other staff also thinner. It was made of dark wood and had a thin green vine wrapping around it. At its top it had two horn-like holders come out and hold a green crystal in between.

He hung the staff to his back, he now had three different staffs. They all hung diagnolly along his back making him seem rather mystic.

Changing to equip the True wood Staff instead of the Levitation Staff Noah felt his mana attribute increase and reach 200 points. He had doubled his mana attribute in the span of a few days. Having so much mana made him ecstatic.

He hopped on the Levitation Staff and had it go at full speed out of the dungeon. Outside he found the location of the Elven Hut and found the shortest route. He thought it would have taken him by tomorrow to come back but now he could finish it tonight. The extra mana allowed him to use the Staff longer at maximum speed and made the round trip faster.

...

Near the wood hut, Noah got off and walked in after knocking on the door. It was late at night but he didn't think the Elf would be asleep.

Inside as he expected the Elf was hammering away.

"You came back? Do you not like the mask or do you want another one?" The Elf said, he then looked up and saw Noah.

"I heard you're the best crafter in the world. Is that true?" Noah asked as he moved in.

"I should easily be the best in this Protected Zone." Elf confidently said, then was reminded of the question that usually followed, "I'm not crafting your F Class item, you can leave."

"How about this?" Noah took out a jade green scroll and kept it on the table.

The Elf looked at and opened it seeing the strong natural energy from it. He then nodded, "I could craft it, but what's in it for me? This will take me seven days to craft, I'll have to close shop. I will you make up for all the money I'll lose?"

Noah rolled his eyes, the hut was hidden in the middle of a dangerous forest no one was coming here just for a mask even if you knew its location. Even they had come because it was along the way.

"I'll make up the money lost with gold," Noah said, with his items being sold and the C Class dungeons he had been doing he had a lot of gold on him.

"My time is priceless gold won't do, I have a better idea. How about you do something for me?" The blond old elf said with a sly smile. "I always wanted to use this feature."

[Quest!]

Kill a TriFlower Serpent and bring its eyes.

Noah saw the quest, the system told him the Tri Flower Serpent was an extremely rare C Class monster. It was a monster that lived in the Deadly woods he was currently in.

"Bring the eyes to me and I'll craft the gun for you."

"You can start crafting now, I don't want to wait when I give you the eyes," Noah said confidently.

"Okay, give me the items, just know I'll finish in a week, but I won't give it to you until you give me the eyes. If you never find the snake you'll have lost your items and money forever." The Elf warned.

Opening his inventory Noah took out a large sack, he had taken these items out from the warehouse before leaving. They were all the materials and the multiples that dropped from completing the dungeons he had been told about.

The Elf emptied the sack and went through them, the materials consisted of metals, woods and various gems. The elderly elf saw the numerous green emerald-like gems and picked out the largest and finest one.

Those were the materials that had dropped from the Tree of Evil which was why he had so many of them.

"You got lucky, from only a dozen attempts and a Superior Life Crystal dropped, if my skill wasn't limited by the system I could have made a C or B Class weapon with this." The elf put the materials down and then seriously looked at Noah, "I'll need everything, even the spare materials if you want the best weapon I can make. With all of this you can do three attempts with a normal crafter, are you sure you want to craft it from me, who has a probability of not giving you the weapon?"

Noah had already decided, he wanted the best weapon, 'I'll bring the eyes in seven days, so be ready." Noah then walked out.

The Elven man laughed hearing Noah's answer, he liked Noah's youthful stubbornness. Looking back at the materials, "I guess I'll have to put in some effort to let the boy down."
