After getting the cloak Noah made his way back to the town and teleported to Eternal Flame City. Today was the day! It had finally been 20 days since he had left it to be reforged.
These twenty days were a lot tougher as he could only use a gun. It was frustrating not being able to get in close. These patient days helped him get better at using his gun and even levelled up his Firearm Mastery to Lv.14, catching up to Sword Mastery.
Noah entered the Dwarven Black Smith Association. Putting the token on the table he said, "I'm here to collect my weapon."
The dwarf looked at the token and nodded, "It's completed. You'll have to pay 120 gold for it."
Noah paid the gold. The price was high but he nothing too expensive.
"You can go and get it."
Noah entered Albert's office.
"Boy, you're exactly on time! I see you aren't one to wait." The dwarf said with a chuckle. He pulled up a bronze box on the side. He then put his hands on its side ready to open it, "It came out well, you can judge it yourself."
The box opened and showed a sword lying in it.
The sword was sheathed but had this incredibly unique look to it. The scabbard was made entirely of metal. It was dark in colour with a smooth texture. It had light black magic circles drawn over it that could barely be seen- from far it would look completely black.
The sword handle however was strange. The Black Estoc didn't have a proper guard, only a small outcropping that was barely noticeable, which was why it seemed like a long thin stick.
This sword was different it had this chamber-like guard with a red bead held in place by two needles in it. The chamber was made off horizontal short rods that connected the blade to the handle. While the red bead in the middle was the bloodstone he had seen before. It was now much brighter and glowed. It was like some type of powering mechanism. The hilt was wrapped in black cloth for a comfortable grip.
Noah picked up the blade.
He instantly felt a connection form as his attributes increased. He put it to his waist and turned to the side and drew it out. Sinng! The long this blade was revealed from its sheath with a crisp sound.
A thin black blade, the width of around two fingers, connected the hilt from the rods forming the chamber. The whole sword was seamless, it was so skillfully done as if the sword had naturally formed like this.
Its sharpness seemed, unmatch as now both edges and the point were sharpened to perfection.
A screen showing its data appeared.
[Cursed Requiem] (D Class) (Blood Weapon)
Strength +100, Agility +110, Physique +30, Intelligence +10, Sense +30, Mana +20
Passive skill 1: [Lv.10 Armour Piercing] The blade of the sword can pierce through most armours.
Passive Skill 2: [Curse Boost] Increase the effect of curse magic by 20%
Passive skill 3: [Severe Corruption] Strong curse energy courses through the blade and will infect anyone who touches it. The energy will spread through them and weaken the being affected, ultimately causing death.
The swords name had changed, it was no longer the Black Estoc, now Cursed Requiem. It still had Armour Piercing, now much stronger. It was at a high level as well. It would be able to break through all monster defences in the Protected Zone.
Then it had Curse Boost. This was an interesting skill, it increased curse magic damage. Which was weird, since it was supposed to be a physical sword.
"The second passive skill?" Noah asked. He didn't mind having it, for now only, Blind and Evil Glare were counted as curses so having them strength would help him in the long run.
"Your sword is on the path to becoming a magic sword, one of the few types of weapons that increases all attributes. It seems you are more inclined to walk that path so it chose to evolve in such a way. It just needs to gain the willpower attribute to fully transform." Albert answered. Magic swords were weapons to be celebrated, as they were one of the rarer types of weapons around.
Then he looked at the final passive skill. Severe Corruption was the main skill he had been wanting. He could sense the restless curse energy inside the blade, it was ready to burst from a touch. This type of energy reminded him of a wild horse, once it started running it wouldn't stop.
The massive amount of curse energy also gave the blade an evil and dominating aura that he liked,
Noah sheathed the sword and put it away in an empty spot in his inventory. He had made space before coming.
Albert spoke seeing Noah satisfied, "That sword has potential, use it well. If you find an elemental crystal worthy come back to me. I can still improve it."
...
Noah left and entered the Dragon Wind Auction House nearby. He entered his warehouse and went to the skill section he had organised inside. He had been storing all the skills he got from B Class dungeons. Even had two to three copies of each.
Skills were actually quite limited drops. There wasn't much variety of them. He hadn't learned more skills through this time, training Firearm Mastery and Death's Dance instead.
[Lv.5 Death's Dance]
D++ Class
You pass by your enemies like a shadow taking their heads with you. Your movements are elegant and swift seemingly like a dance. Each attack you make injures heavily and leads to death. This skill is specially customised to the owner bringing out of his potential.
It has two parts to it, one that buffs the owner, the other that allows the owner to see weaknesses. The skill when activated continuously drains mana from the body until it is deactivated.
Effect 1: [Murderous Blade Dance]
A self-buff skill made for fast killing. You fill with murderous intent boosting your attributes immensely.
Strength +45, Agility +80, Sense +45
Effect 2: [Critical Hit Eyes]
A special skill that allows you to see the weakness of the world. You see all in black and white except spots of weakness. These spots are highlighted in red. The deeper the red the more fatal the weakness.
Skill Cooldown: 15 minutes
Now Death's Dance had reached max level, it didn't change other than giving a greater boost in attributes and lower cooldown. Firearm Mastery was close to max level so he decided to learn a few skills he had been keeping.
[Wild Swordplay]
D Class
Release the pent up energy within you through your sword. Freely swing it increasing its speed and damage by 10% for five minutes.
cooldown: 30 minutes
[Mana Sheild]
D Class
Form a solid shield out of mana to block both physical and magical attacks.
cooldown: 2 minutes
[Silent Screech]
D Class

cooldown: 10 minutes
[Insanity Venom]
D+ Class
Enchant your bladed weapon, causing it to debuff the enemy: 5% decrease in intelligence and disrupts thinking, lasts for 30 seconds. Stacks up to five times. The enemy will gain resistance after the fifth attack reducing the effect.
cooldown: 60 seconds
He was planning on only learning Wild Swordplay and Mana Sheild but now that the Cursed Requiem had the Curse Boost skill he learned Silent Screech and Insanity Venom as well. Both of them were the strongest curses he had. He had gotten especially lucky on getting Insanity Venom drop in a normal B Class dungeon.
He looked at his status page.
