«We made it! » One of the sailors said in happiness and the others cheered along «Very well Captain, I think you were right. Nothing is impossible. » Liam said to me putting his hand on my back and I smiled «See, didn't I told you? But it's not over yet. » I said to him. «Hey! » I screamed «Enough cheering! This is not over yet. Go back to your posts and fix the ship in your areas if it's damaged. » «Aye Captain! » They all screamed in harmony while walking to their places, I looked behind and Cooper made a sign with his head asking if we could continue and I replied with a nod. «Sirens here we go. » I whispered under my breath.
I walked over to Cooper and looked to the map next to him «Do you think we can pass the Sirens? » I asked him. «Well- I don't really know… » He said, «Maybe we could if you guys weren't a simps. » I joked and he laugh along. «Is everything alright Captain? » «I don't know, something feels wrong. » «I understand what you are saying, I can feel it to. » I looked to him and looked back to the horizon again. Cooper could be only a seventeen-year-old boy but he was smart and he had a good instinct. And that was what I was afraid in this moment, he felt that something was wrong too, but what would that be?

We entered in a deep fog cloud «Quiet! » I said to the sailors. We needed to pass through the sirens without warning them that we were here. But it looked like it was already too late, the sirens have already spot us. As we walked dipper into the fog we saw a showdown in it was it crying? Suddenly the crying turned into a laugh and someone started to sing «Everybody, cover your ears! NOW! » I yelled in panic. But it was too late, most of the sailors were already hypnotised. I run to then rudder with my ears covered, Cooper was mesmerized by the Sirens. I took the hands of my ears and started screaming a bunch of 'las' like a five-year-old kid that is trying to ignore someone. I grabbed the rudder trying to avoid the rocks that were appearing on our direction. I was starting to get out of breath, but if I took the hands of the rudder we would sink. I couldn't hold up anymore, my 'las' started to get lower and the Sirens music was getting louder I tried to ignore but before I noticed I was enchanted by them and the last thing that I remember was a huge wave coming in our direction.
I woke up in a beach, wood planks and pieces of the ship were everywhere to be found, the Bully o' Tea was destroyed. I got up and started walking along the beach looking for the others, I started earing a grunt, I walked in the direction of the sound and saw Liam. I saw a big red stain on him, he was bleeding, and he had a big piece of wood stabbed on his stomach. «Liam! » I screamed running over to him. I sited on my knees next to him and looked around to see if someone was nearby. Liam hold my hand, I looked over to him «It's ok. » he said he went over my boot and took a dagger that I had there and placed it on my hand «No… I-I'm not doing it. » I said as tears rolled down my cheeks «please, just finish this…» he said almost it a whisper «Take away my suffer, please. » I shake my head following with a whisper «no…» «Saskia…please…» I looked up and sighed and looked back at him. I lifted the dagger a bit above his chest and looked at him «you are a good captain... the best one ever... » he said after nodding to me and as he finished that sentence I craved the dagger on his chest. He was dead, I closed his eyes and got up to go look for the others.
I tripped over something that was hid in the sand, I caught it and shook of the sand that was one it «My pirate hat...» I said smiling, I never wore it though, it was always on my quarter hanged for decoration, I guess. I walked along the sand looking for more people, the second one I found was Cooper, unfortunately he was also dead, and he had marks along his neck, he must got asphyxiated by one of the ropes of the ship. «Captain? » a heard someone behind me, I turned around and Jeffrey and some other 3 sailors, I smiled to see some of my people alive «Is there any others? » I asked «Yes, but they are dead. » I nodded «Liam and Cooper are dead too…»

«Were do we put him? »One of the sailors asked, «Here next to Cooper. » I answered. We pushed the raft over the water with the dead bodies above it to the water, we stayed there watching it go with the current as we watched I started to sing low.
I thought I heard the Old Man say:
"Leave her, Johnny, leave her."
Tomorrow you will get your pay,
And it's time for us to leave her.
Leave her, Johnny, leave her!
Oh, leave her Johnny, leave her!
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her.
The sailors noticed me and decided to sing the sea shanty along with me.
Oh, the was foul and the sea ran high
"Leave her, Johnny, leave her!"
She shipped it green and none went by.
And it's time for us to leave her.
Leave her, Johnny, leave her!
Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her!
For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow
And it's time for us to leave her…
As I sang the guilt consumed me, I should have listened to Cooper and Liam and how they were right, it was way too dangerous. I sighed and closed my eyes, I opened my eyes again and looked to the horizon line, the sea was so calm, and the sky was filled with stars. It was a beautiful night, a sad but beautiful night.

The corpses were nowhere to be seen now in the sea, and as they navigated somewhere in the ocean we were entering the tavern of a village that was near by. We sat on a table by the window and ordered a few drinks. «Captain, is everything okay? » Jeffrey asked «Yeah, I'm just a bit tired. » «You are not drinking either, that's not normal of you…» I looked at my drink, he was right, I've barely touched the mug «I just not feel like drinking right now. » «What? You don't feel like drinking? Are you sick? » He said starting to touch my forehead «3, 2, don't let me get to three» «That seems more like you now! » He said chuckling
Jeffrey turned to the other sailors and started talking about something, stories maybe? To be honest I wasn't really paying attention, I sighed and finally took a sip of my bear. «Hey cap? » I looked over the voice «Yes, Brad? » «Do you want to hear a story? » «I'm not precisely in a mood to hear a story hook feet. » «C'mon cap, it's a fun one. » He said in a wining way, «Fine, go ahead and suprise me. » he inclined in my direction and made a pause and started singing.
From Tortuga's port we put to sea
And sailed for sixteen days
In the biggest storm I'd ever seen
We almost lost our way
When a call came from a deck hand
"Boys, I think she's going down
But don't you fear, there's enough rum here
The other sailors joined to the sea shanty and kept singing.
To drink until we drown!"
Ho!
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
Ear-lie in the morning
Hoo-ray and up she rises
Hoo-ray and up she rises
Hoo-ray and up she rises
They looked at me and I smiled and decided to join in
Ear-lie in the morning
So this deckhand grabbed a barrel
Broke the seal and took a swig
And soon their screams turned into songs
Their panicked work turned into jigs
The first mate bellowed orders
Ever trying to save their skins
"Any drunken retch the captain catch
He'll beat all limb from limb"
Ho!
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
What shall we do with a drunken sailor?
Ear-lie in the morning
Hoo-ray and up she raises
Hoo-ray and up she raises
Hoo-ray and up she raises
Ear-lie in the morning
…
We ended the song, and I was laughing, who would say that a simple silly sea shanty made me smile after a tragic accident. We drunk a few more beers and talked until one of the sailors asked me «And, what now cap? » everyone looked at me and I looked back at them, and looked down then looked back to the person that made the question «I don't know, that's on you guys…» everyone made a confused look «That's on us? Wha-what do you mean? » «I mean what you are thinking that I meant on saying that. I'm not your captain anymore, I quit. »
