10 years later

It's been teen years since the little princesses were born. In side the castle,The king and Queen are getting ready for Lexi's Tenth birthday. They filled the ballroom up with Ribbons and balloons. The Presents were lined up against the wall and the cake was next to them. The cake was three layers tall and had strawberry filled in the middle. This was Lexi's Favorite cake.

Princess Lexi is in her room, Getting ready. All the maids are getting her cleaned up. Well, All but one. Dawn is making sure Melody is getting something for her Birthday. Dawn made her a beautiful dress. She handed it to the princess and princess Melody didnt hesitate to open it. The princess pulled out a beautiful Black and pink dress. The princesses eyes filled with tears as she hugged Dawn.

This is the very first dress the princess has ever received. The princess promised to keep it safe. The look that Princess Melody looked at her with. Dawn knew, That princess Melody deserved a better life. she knew she had to find a way to free the princess.

Well back at the party. The Trumpets played and the King yelled out. Presenting Princess Lexi. Everyone cheered when the princess came in. Princess lexi thanked her parents for the party. The Queen advised the princess to go talk to the people. The princess talked to a few people and when she turned around. A young boy tripped her. When she fell, She ripped her dress. Princess Lexi got up with tears in her eyes and ran up stairs. The boys father scolded him and the king and Queen, decided that the party should end. Princess Lexi was so embarrassed, she ran from the party and didn't stop running. she made it to a staircase. she stop to take a break and she looked up and wondered where it led to. She decided that, she'll find out another day. she really just wanted to change her clothes. The princess hurried back to her room. She went to her walk in closet, she picked out a beautiful nightgown and laid down to bed.
