"Apollo!" Yue Qin hissed in her head. "Come on, there must be a way you can help me right? I really need something that can help me form a Holy Core. Otherwise, maybe you can teach me how to form a Core? If I form a core myself, I might form a Warrior Core or Magic Core by mistake you know! And then it'll be too late, and I won't be able to be a Priest anymore!"

Apollo fell silent for a while and Yue Qin waited nervously for its reply. Finally, she heard Apollo's voice once more. "Ding! Host's arguments are valid and a loophole has been found. In order to ensure that Host will be the greatest Priest, Host must first have the best Holy Core. As such, the System will gift Host a perfected embryonic Holy Core to set a strong foundation. Host must work hard!"

Hearing Apollo's reply, Yue Qin finally let out a sigh of relief. At least this trial of hers was over. Now that Apollo was giving her a Holy Core, she no longer had to worry over her lack of knowledge on how to form it.

"Wait embryonic? What do you mean by embryonic?" Yue Qin quickly backtracked.

"Silly Host. Did you really think that everyone would form a perfected Core immediately? Everyone would first form an embryonic Core which they can slowly strengthen through practice and meditation. Moreover, even the embryonic cores are split into different grades based on the levels of completion which will reflect your talent and foundation. Any mistakes made would leave permanent scars on your Core. As such, in order to set a strong foundation and prevent you from messing up your Core formation, the System will provide a perfected embryonic Core to you."

Then, Yue Qin felt the energy from her surroundings being pulled into the various acupuncture points in her body. A comforting warmth spread from head to toe and she could feel that energy circulating within her body. The various types of energy gathered in her chest and condensed into a ball-like shape surrounded by a network of strings.

But as the energy was being gathered, the elements attached to the energy were slowly being purified and removed from the ball leaving only the golden energy within the ball of light. These impurities were then released back into the atmosphere.

Quickly, the ball became larger and more solid until it resembled a golden sphere and the threads that had delivered energy into it trickled to a stop

Yue Qin gasped in amazement, as she observed the floating sphere. Curiously, she used her mind to poke it and felt an overflowing warmth wash over her. It was beautiful.

Now that she had finally formed her core successfully, Yue Qin could feel a wave of relief wash over her. Although Apollo had already previously promised that it would gift her the Core, she had still constantly felt on edge until it was finally formed. Moreover, that constant feeling of warmth that reminded her of home, made her feel relaxed and happy.

Now she could finally move on to the other question that had been bugging her.

"Apollo, can you explain to me the healing skill and storage bracelet I won?"

"Of course. As long as you absorb the skill book, you will gain initial mastery over the Gold-Ranked skill Individual Healing. As the name implies, the skill will allow you to heal the illnesses and physical injuries of individuals. For more details, please learn the skill book first. As for the storage bracelet, it can allow you to store 150cmx150cmx150cm of items, the size of a mini tent. Does Host want to learn the skill or see the bracelet?"

"Learn the skill!" Now that she had formed a Core, it was a good time to learn the skill. That way, she would finally be a true Priest. As to the bracelet, she had plenty of time to observe it later. It would be weird for her to summon something out of thin air.

"Ding! Gold Ranked Skill Individual Healing received!"

A panel of information appeared in Yue Qin's mind as the golden book slowly dissolved into particles in her mindscape.

(Gold) Individual Healing Level 1: Allows the user to heal 1 person of their choice, replenishing their HP by 50% immediately. Has a 30% chance of healing mental injuries. Able to heal any injuries of the flesh and injuries of the bone. The degree of healing is determined by the amount of mana used.

Yue Qin had closed her eyes, enjoying the flood of information that washed over her. After using the skill book, it felt like she had gained decades of experience in using the skill, allowing it to be upgraded to Gold Rank.

Reading her status page, Yue Qin felt speechless, and her good mood vanished in a flash. "Apollo! What is with these low stats and those snide comments? And these skills? Idiocy? Bad student? Wallflower? Are you insulting me with those names?! And why do they seem more like debuffs?!"

"Ask yourself, Host. Those are the only skills the past you learnt for the past 12 years. Also, those stats are the result of your training. If you find it low then work hard, Host!"

"Low? They aren't just low! They are awfully bad! If I activate Wallflower, wouldn't my charm become negative? And that Idiocy skill, why would I want to lower my intelligence so much? Or that Bad Student skill, why would I even use it? Wouldn't the teachers slaughter me alive after I use it?"

"The more you use your skills, the faster they can be upgraded, and the better they will get."

Yue Qin cursed the system in her mind. She wouldn't use them or upgrade them! "Then what do the ranks in front of the skills mean?"

"Skills are divided into different ranks according to your proficiency in them. Iron and Bronze are the lowest rankings. Above them are Silver and Gold. As such, do work hard to improve your skills Host!"

"Then what about the Earth affinity? Does that mean I can use Earth spells? Don't I need to have a light affinity to form a Holy Core?"

"Your Core was given to you Host..." Apollo sounded speechless.

"I know that! But shouldn't you have given me a Light affinity at the same time? Otherwise, how will I improve myself in the future?"

"Host, you just have to absorb the Supreme Body of Light and you will be able to have a top-notch Light Affinity…"

"Oh. Oops." Yue Qin replied sheepishly.

"As for that Earth affinity of yours, it's just a lousy Medium level Mortal Grade Affinity. Just forget about it. You should be thankful you got the Supreme Body of Light. Otherwise, who knows who long it'll take for you to cultivate to any sort of standard?"

"Hey! It can't be that bad right?"

"Go read some books Host."

"Are you dissing me?"

"There's a reason why your intelligence is 20 Host."

"OI!"
