(Chapter eight.)

Meanwhile, back on the second Death Star... the New Confederacy of Independent Systems overhead Kylo Ren's orders via an intercepted transmission from a Dove Fighter.

Rey! General Grievous! We're going to have company! Kylo Ren's coming this way! Aleena called to them over the intercom.

Rey reached for her yellow lightsaber, only to find that it wasn't there. Um... General Grievous, could I borrow one of your extra lightsabers? Rey asked.

Grah! Don't, loose this, Jedi! General Grievous said as he handed her Darth Zannah's double bladed crimson red lightsaber. Aleena then entered the room. That lightsaber was an ancient Sith Lord's but the blades are naturally red. I hope you know how to use it. Said Aleena.

I've used a staff my whole life, this won't be much different. Rey replied. Good, Aleena replied. Rey gasped as she held the lightsaber, brief images of Darth Zannah and of battle's long ago flashed in her mind. Incoming! Here they come! Joey told them over the intercom. The call pulled Rey back into reality, and shook her head to clear it. Then she raised the lightsaber, ready to fight.

The First Order's Atmospheric Assault Lander's began landing in the second Death Star hangar. Cale Lestin immediately began attacking the Stormtrooper's with ho green lightsaber. Thel Droideka's, Annihilator Droids, and the B3 Ultra Battle Droids began viciously attacking the Stormtrooper's to defend their master's battle station.

Rey watched as the droids battled Stormtrooper's. Several fired their blasters at her. Rey ignited the the lightsaber and scarlet blades appeared from both ends of the hilt. Rey held the lightsaber out in front of her and spun it in swift circles, deflecting the blasts. This is nice, Rey told General Grievous.

Yes it is nice. I killed an assassin to get it. General Grievous replied. You are both doing great, but it's time to step up, Kylo Ren as arrived. Aleena said.

Indeed he has, said a voice. They turned to see Kylo Ren approaching them. Supreme Leader Kylo Ren, you're more childish than expected. General Grievous said as he coughed. General Grievous... Kylo Ren replied. You're shorter than I expected.

General Grievous growled before igniting his four lightsabers. First Order scum, he said. Kylo Ren looked around. Quite an army you have here, Kylo Ren said. Better than yours. Aleena replied. You haven't even seen half of my army yet. I have a army of Stormtrooper's waiting... Kylo Ren stopped himself from revealing their location.

You're mother wants you to come home Ben Solo, and it's not to late to do so, said Aleena. It is too late, Kylo Ren replied. No one would ever forgive me... not even my mother.

Don't say that! Aleena said to him as Leia walked into the room. Ben, I have already forgive you, Princess Leia told her son. Why? Kylo Ren asked. Because I love you, Princess Leia answered. I love you too, Kylo Ren replied. His mother hugged him. I will make things right, Kylo Ren promised. Then he looked over at Rey, Sara Ventris, and Aleena. To all of you, Kylo Ren added.

Aleena then saw a Stormtrooper about to take a potshot at Ben Solo. Look out! Was all she could say before she pushed Ben Solo out of the way. She got shot by a blaster shot in the arm. A few of the Stormtrooper's began to shoot at the other Stormtrooper's who tried to assassinate their leader. Sara walked over to Aleena. Are you alright? She asked her.

Ugh, I'll live. Help the Stormtrooper's that are shooting at the assassin's. Aleena replied to Sara's question.

Sara and her Master Rey Skywalker charged at the assassin's, and began to fight them with their lightsabers. Aleena watched as the First Order Star Destroyers jumped into hyperspace.

You saved my life, Ben Solo told Aleena. No need to thank me, Aleena said with a smile.

I'm the one who should be thanking you... for saving my son. Princess Leia said. You don't need to thank me, both of you would have done the same thing for me, Aleena said to Princess Leia with a warm smile.

Princess Leia smiled back. General Grievous picked up Aleena before leaving. You better let my husband know what happened. The Stormtrooper's who shot the assassin's have joined our cause. Aleena said. I'll see you when I'm out of the bacta tank.

Princess Leia nodded solemnly. Stormtrooper's, I'm putting you all on guard duty for the second Death Star. Welcome to the New Confederacy of Independent Systems, troopers. Make us proud. Aleena said before she was out of the hangar.

The Stormtrooper's nodded, wanting to earn her trust.
