Ch. 14: Going Back To Earth

The following evening after Chen Fan dropped the figurative bomb on Jiang Churan, both of them could be seen sleeping in the same bed and naked. It was obvious that they had sex.

Jiang Churan slept with a content expression. Her body was covered in a light sheen, her limbs were wrapped around Chen Fan's body, and her head lay on Chen Fan's chest. After Chen Fan reminded Jiang Churan of what to expect right after they returned, she went silent. However, Chen Fan could see the complex emotions she had through her eyes. He'd told her about this matter not long ago.

When Jiang Churan heard that Jiang Haishan was technically dead — killed by Tang Hongyu when she lost her composure after discovering that the man never loved her and even planned to use his daughter to advance his career — and then was controlled by Chen Fan, she felt complex feelings.

For your information, Chen Fan didn't tell Jiang Churan that he and Tang Hongyu had used Jiang Haishan to disillusion and manipulate her. He told her that he controlled Jiang Haishan a couple of days before the birthday of Zhang Yumeng.

It wasn't really a lie. Chen Fan said that he controlled Jiang Haishan two days before his and Jiang Churan's departure to his universe, which was true. But he never said that he started controlling Jiang Haishan since then.

However, Jiang Churan believed that Chen Fan only started controlling Jiang Haishan that time while in truth he'd controlled the man a few days before. It was a misdirection at its finest.

Jiang Churan might have become a powerful peak Xiantian Immortal Cultivator, but she was still naive. She also believed in Chen Fan without a second thought. Her love and dependence on Chen Fan also helped her to see him in a good light.

Regardless, even though the image that Jiang Churan had about Jiang Haishan was utterly destroyed, the man was still her father, so she felt a little complicated when she found out her father lived no more.

Chen Fan gave Jiang Churan a gentle smile before kissing her lips.

"All right, let's return to Earth," Chen Fan said after ending the kiss.

"En," Jiang Churan replied with a nod.

After that, they disappeared from their home for the past one year and reappeared in Chen Fan's villa.
