A Dance to Remember

His hand slowly extended towards me as I placed my hand over his. The slow music reached our ears as we stepped towards the dance floor where the dance had already begun. I glanced around for a second only to find all my friends standing in different corners of the hall, watching us.

I got confused over the thought of only us dancing but I soon brushed it off since this was Roan's graduation dance and it was the most important part of the ball. But why isn't Knox dancing? After all, It is his graduation ball also.

Our feet slowly started to move with the beat of the music as our bodies swayed at the rhythm. At first, I was too busy looking around but eventually, I looked at him and, our eyes met. He was already looking at me and at that moment, a feeling rose in me that was difficult to express myself. I felt my stomach twisting at the sight of his soft yet dominant gaze.
