You have to tell me how it all turns out come Monday," Dr. Reese replied with an obvious smile in his voice. "You should probably get going before my wife gets here though. She'll be more than a little confused to see you."

"Right. I'll head out now. I hope you have a speedy recovery."

Percy put his equipment back into his backpack and headed home after waving goodbye. If this worked, he would owe the professor for the rest of his life. 

He thought about how to trick Penelope into going to the hospital on the way home. Making contact with the other side had wiped his exhaustion away and his mind was racing at the speed of light.
