Dr. Reese wasn't that type of person. He loved science for science's sake, not for glory. He had been thrilled to be a part of the black hole photo project even though he wasn't one of the people getting recognized for it. 

He smiled. "Well, you're right. Though I must admit I want to start scanning the Aquarii system immediately if only to see for myself. If I do find anything, I'll let you take the credit for it. 

"In exchange, you have to keep me in the loop about your spatial disturbance research. I want to see any data you collect. But is this all you're doing? Wouldn't you need more information?"

"I already talked to Dr. Goldman about going through recent data from the teleseismometer. It's not much but it's better than nothing," Percy said with a sigh. "I'm going into this blind."
