Why Couldn't It All Just Stop?

Penelope tackle hugged her brother as soon as she managed to spot him in the crowd of graduates fleeing the auditorium. She was so proud of him for finishing school so young, especially considering she never got around to finishing at all. Even more so because he got such a great offer to continue on for his PhD. 

He wouldn't have any real resting time between graduation and continuing his research but he probably preferred it that way. Percy loved outer space more than any other scientific topic he had ever been interested in. 

"You did it, Percy!" she said gleefully as he staggered backward slightly to catch her with a grin on his face. 

"Yeah. But I'm still going to be in school for quite a while so don't get too excited."

"It'll be different though since you'll be teaching too. That will be weird, huh? You'll be fine though; it's in your blood."
